Ta Prohm temple is used a lot of names across Cambodia for temples. Local people lived in each region that saw the 4 faces of Buddha on the temple tower. They believed that it was god Brahma so they gave the name of temple.

This is another ancient temple site that we reach and pave the way for you to visit.

This late 12th century Buddhist temple built from sandstone with a single tower on the manmade hill and it was covered by manmade moat.

Temple was built by king Jayavarman VII in around 1181 - 1220 AD to install the Lokeshvara Buddha and the reward for his advisor who ruled on the west of Angkor Thom city.
