Great reaction. This has been fun watching you introduce NW to others. You are a champion in the Nightwish Army. Thank you. We are all trying to spread the word. NW Army, BC Canada 😉

I'm pretty sure there are Nightwish's fans in Southern Mississippi 🙂 (The 1st Mississippi Regiment of the Nightwish Army 😁) Your guest seems to have enjoyed the song, or there was an earthquake in his house 😄

I still love emppu’s face after the floor-raid siren. It was like ‘yeah. We got THAT. What you gonna do about it?”

I was similar. I knew Nightwish with Tarja, but I faded out when she left. I liked Storytime with Annette, but that was it, so I left again. I rediscovered Nightwish with Floor and haven't left since. Taylor is probably my favorite guest. There are others I really liked, but this reaction really was the best!
@marietaandreeva30410 ай бұрын
Same here, but the only song I liked with Annette was Amaranth. I rediscovered all of Annette's songs after Floor sang them.

What's funny is that Romanticide is from the same album as Nemo. Honestly, before getting back to Nightwish a few years ago when I discovered they were with Floor, I was exactly like this - knew Oceanborn and Wishmaster by heart (or at least I thought I did - Devil & the Deep Dark Ocean from Decades felt like an entirely new song to me when I first watched that) and never really got much into the rest, except maybe when I got curious about Dark Passion Play to see what Anette Olzon was all about (and I liked it btw), before drifting out entirely. When I got back, I remembered stuff like Nemo and 10th Man Down, but had to rediscover other stuff like Romanticide and Ghost Love Score.

I´m glad you did Romanticide by Nightwish - it showcases the brilliance of both vocalists and it´s one of their heavier songs. Love the guitar riffs on this one.

Hi Joel, what a nice guy you invited. I never heard of Taproot, but I’am curious now. He had to realize that singer Floor Jansen (I’am a huge fan of her) in Wacken 2013 new was in the band (only 8-9 months).

Maybe going a bit crazy (it’s the darkest months here in Finland),but this video… was it a bit too slow? 🤔 Lovely guest by the way. 😊
@TomTomson8111 ай бұрын
No, that was the right speed. Maybe you've heard too fast version so far. You can find them on youtube. Recorded at way too high speed. But this is originally the right speed. There is only the original version and the too fast version. There is no version that is too slow here on youtube.
@Songfugel11 ай бұрын
Yeah, either that, or make sure to check your playback speed settings! I have forgot to change playback speed back to normal a couple of times after using the slow/speed up settings with some educational videos! @@TomTomson81 @k.l.7788

I'm liking the way Taylor is appreciative of hearing good music for the first time. He seems to be a really good guy. I'm hoping the LOVEBITES track that is chosen is one of their heavier tracks, because that seems to be the music that Taylor would prefer. Guess I'll find out soon enough.
