Elize Kelly The best long jumpers tend to be mid/late 20s. It’s not unusual to have top jumpers in their early 30s. American Brittney Reese won silver and she’s 34 turning 35 in September.

Tara I didn't realise you were competing until last minute and was rooting for you. I'm not American but watched you and Hunter on utube channel and just want to say what an inspiration you are as a human being watching you and him together. I loved your vibrant personality and the way you was smiling and upbeat doing your performances. You should be proud of yourself and your so young and will have many more years of Olympics to come. Tara, I know it wasn't the outcome that you wanted, but you did awesome!!! You did more than most people can even imagine or dream of. It has been amazing watching your journey.
