For everyone mentioning her age, she was born August 7, 1999 making her 21 as of this upload date. However, this documentary was originally posted in May of 2017, making her 17 at the absolute oldest at the time. So yes, she was still in high school and this was her everyday life at the time of filming. “But right now, she’s very much still a teenager-most of the time.” Even the caption was copy/pasted of the description from when this came out in 2017.

I'm very impressed with Sydney, both athletically and as a person, especially when she said what her parents told her about being careful with what she says in public and dealing with those who approach her about her track exploits and celebrity status, just living with the fame and its inconveniences. My hope for her is to not only succeed in Tokyo at the Olympics, but, also, to not fall into temptation like other young athletes (illegal drugs to enhance performance, fall out of line with her regimen and slack off, etc.). Just be the best person God made you to be, follow your heart, and achieve your goals. Make your family proud, and your country proud. I think she's on her way.
