I remember Tara hosted TMZ once, and they asked her what the worst movie she's ever been in was, and she said, " I just wrapped up filming Sharknado, its about sharks flying over the city trying to kill everybody", laughter erupted in the studio. I worked in a hotel that she stayed in for comic con. She stunk up the entire lobby from smoking weed outside but she was extremely kind and humble. She didn’t look her best but was one of the nicest guests there. Her manager was too. They both remembered me from checking them in and let me get a picture and autograph without paying because of that. She was also really nice to the bartender and other hotel goers and seemed lonely. She kept asking people to sit with her and go outside to smoke with her. Despite her choices or whatever - she still remains a good person. That’s what matters IMO. Btw, Ian was sweet too.

Met her at a party in Los Angeles, somewhere in the hills a year ago. An old friend at the time saw that I had a Josie and the Pussycats poster in my house and invited me to his birthday party because she was gonna be there and he told me to bring my DVD of the movie. Fun fact about Shark Shock: the blonde extra with blue highlights is the now infamous Lani Sarem. Infamous because she's the lady who scammed her way into the New York Times Bestseller list for 24 hours. It's been more or less proven that she did it by bulk ordering her book, Handbook for Mortals. People scam the NYT list all the time, I know, but she wasn't even trying to be subtle about it. Like the book was from a debut author that no one had ever heard of, published by a publishing company that just started, and it was in the notoriously cutthroat YA demographic - obviously everyone knew she cheated. Another funny thing is that Sarem also announced that her book was already in the works for a movie adaptation. And, get this, the American Pie guy would've starred in it. But only as a side character... even though he's probably the most famous person Sarem had. It was whole thing in the book community 😂

The person that comes to mind for me is Melissa Joan Hart. She was a rock star when I was a kid, I absolutely loved Sabrina the Teenage Witch. Have you seen the movie she starred in where she has to hide her grandma’s death to keep her rent controlled apartment in NYC? Hey, I was talking to my younger friends at work and I suddenly started telling them about how there was a film based on the song Teenage Dirtbag by Wheatus, they were like no way does it exist - but I was like seriously it had half the cast of American Pie and it came out between the 1st and the 2nd one I can remember it so vividly. Anyway we googled it and it was actually called Loser and the song was like based on the movie (but I think in the UK movies still came out like a year later back then, so it must have just seemed like it to me when I was a kid). I was like oh my god Jaime French needs to review this, this so perfect for her. So just putting this out there for you and the universe

I want to suggest two magnificent movies for you to check out; Gentlemen Broncos (2009) and The Sasquatch Gang (2006). Gentlemen Broncos stars one of your favorites, Jennifer Coolidge, as well as Sam Rockwell, Jemaine Clement, and many more. It's about a teenager who has his story idea stolen by an established author. Sounds basic but the journey is truly unique. Sam Rockwell's performance is perfection and the whole movie is just so special. I fell in love with it as a teenager because it was so weird and different. The Sasquatch Gang stars Justin Long, John Gries, and Jeremy Sumpter. It's another movie with a different vibe. Justin Long and Joey Kern are hilarious in their roles but the other actors don't disappoint either. It also gives Napoleon Dynamite energy but in its own way. Plus, there is LARPing so what more could you really ask for. Hopefully these recommendations won't disappoint since they are some of my favorite fairly unknown films.

I think an obvious choice for this kind of theme would be Nicholas Cage, but you'd honestly need months and a multi-hour long video to do any of his Filmography list justice. Heck, it's enough content to do an entire series, just on him. 🤣 Another great option is Bruce Willis, for sure. His list has a lot for you to work with! (Third option is Jim Carey, but I personally prefer the first two.) I know all 3 are even bigger names and so have way more typically successful projects, but all have also done many years of terrible, straight to DVD or B-rated flicks, especially in the middle+ of their careers. So it still gives the same feel as this Tara Reid one does!

Jamie is so talented, a great singer, storyteller, and comedian- who else puts a countdown timer in ads? So thoughtful- and she’s good to her bird, who’s also pretty brilliant! LOVE THIS GAL!😍🤣🤩

"My boyfriend's dead, he was eaten by a shark" is my new jam. Thanks for the laughs, smiles, and general happiness, Jaime! Quick thought added: In worthless, I believe the whole unrelated character thing was done to set up the idea of bullying / worthlessness. The high school flashback sets up the attitudes of her and those she was surrounded with, including the adults/coach. After the flashback , we see how "worthless" she is to everyone in her life- husband, the guy at the bar, the ladies, her family, etc. It's how she treated everyone in life. It's necessary for the "nightmare" to end.

Tara is just one of those natural born entertainers. Even when the movie is terrible, it still has some worth simply because of her presence and joy in what she does. Also, I think a Mario Lopez filmography deep dive would be fun!

Please do a deep dive on Nic Cage! I'm suprised you didn't mention him in the beginning of this video. Also a deep dive on Keaneu Reeves would be fabulous. Perhaps a comparison between him and Adam driver because half the time I actually can't tell them apart... is that just me? Anything and everything you do is wonderful thank you Jaime

I've been having one of the worst weeks ever...but somehow, I managed to literally lol at your video. Specifically your hysterical laughter, after delivering the "do you guys get it?!?" corny joke. I love you Jaime, your content never lets me down. Thank you for cheering me up, and making me laugh. As "Trish" always says, "Live, Laugh, Love." Hehe. 😂💕💕

I just wanna put this out there: I would pay cash money for you to do an album of classic songs from the 40s-00s with the lyrics changed to fit specific movies/tv shows/scenes.

Does anyone else remember that show she hosted, I think it was on E!? It was her traveling and the theme tune ended with, “It’s all good…with Tara Ried!” One episode she was in Greece and was going exploring. It looked like she’d be a fun travel companion.

I saw a horror movie with her in it briefly last month, she had top billing despite 5 minutes of screentime, and she was the best part of the movie. Which is ultimately a commentary on how bad everything else was than about how good she was.

Was it basically "The Hills Have Eyes 2" but surrounded by wheat -corn?-?? I hate it when she's one of the first die. I know I'm in for a long movie when that happens.

Jaime, you were really sweet not to mention Tara’s downfall, yes it was morbidly entertaining while it was happening, but now that I’m a “grown woman “ ( yeah I’m just pretending, lil girl at ❤) but it’s sad, I would have hated my breakdown blasted across the world. You humanized her and I hope many people here just want the best for her. And more bad movies😂

I'm not sure that she knows lol

She didn't even have a breakdown, her career died because of Alone in the Dark and her botched boob job at P Diddys birthday. Why u pretending to remember something that never happened, she's worked consistently for this whole time

@@kristy-louanushole7046 Not pretending to remember anything, except seeing her blasted across the tabloids at stores years ago. From what I remember, the headlines were not kind. It certainly seems that they were saying she had some sort of “downfall”, even Jaime said something alluding to that herself. I’m not gonna “pretend “ to actually know what happened to her, I just feel sad for her because for awhile, she was portrayed as a total shit show and that’s hard for anyone. Chill out with the hate, dude, I’m just being supportive of her shit movies ✌🏽
@tiffanygirard5911 Жыл бұрын
@@kristy-louanushole7046she’s def been in and out of rehab and had serious addiction problems. Not saying that’s exactly a “downfall” but she has not been working consistently this whole time. I saw her on celebrity marriage boot camp or some show like that and she was definitely not doing great
