Honestly, there are so few singers who can interpret a song with such nuance and finesse as you, and who also have both the most delicately ethereal voice AND penetrating, clear as a church bell quality. Your singing is so soothing, captivating and and profoundly beautiful to listen to, I hope you never stop making your music available to the public, and while I don't want to discourage your professional medical goals, I hope they don't overshadow the gift God gave you, because it is a gift so many people need. I keep coming back to this one. It does so please my ear. This comment verges, veers into style choices so,,, immediately, I am wrong. Several of the words that end phrases are short,,, but my ear is greedy,, I keep wishing the lyric, cursive line, staying on the vowel to continue. An unjust greed on my part. The one that I hope you tackle one day is 'Summertime" , from Porgy and Bess, George Gershwin. As written,, it is a lullaby sung to a new born to soothe and quiet her at bedtime. It is deceptive. It is an incredibly simple song,,,,and nearly no one can sing it. Its difficulty lies in its virtue,, it is simple, exposed. Imagine as you hear or sing it, that the intent is to lead a tiny one to the soft side of life, to rest. Frequently (not always) embellishments make it less, not more This song, "Fields of Gold" leads me to think you could do it.. Full voice but quiet, languid and nearly continuous, music for little ears,, and old ears as well. Another , often cut from productions,,, you should listen to Serena's Song as well,, maybe for you, maybe not.
