I’ve used this a few times now and very happy with it. I usually apply with my fingers and didn’t have any issues with this settling into lines! I have dry skin with a very slight oily t-zone in the summer. No hairline issues with application. I agree it has a great finish - very natural looking.

Tara, you are the Queen 👸 of foundation reviews!! 🎉 I’m so happy you tested this foundation. I’ve been eyeing this foundation since Sephora put it on the website. I may just give this one a try. I’ll be in Vegas the first week of November and will be able to see the shades then. No Sephora where I live and this makes finding correct shades sooo difficult. Oh honey, I’ve been shaving my face for way over a decade. Menopause does interesting things to hair growth. You lose it on your head but gain it on your face 😂 In my ‘60’s with normal to dry skin. The dryness comes from Retin A use. Love your eye look with the peach! Please let us know if you find a warmer shade. Hugs 🤗

P.s I definitely agree with you about shaving / dermaplanning your face, I have been doing it for over a year now and I absolutely love it. I use the micheal todd dermaplanner and just get the refills for it which are only like 20$ for a 6 month supply. I swear, that was one of the best investments I made in 2018. Once you start dermaplanning you can't stop, it just feels so good and i have seen a significant change in my skin since adding it to my skincare routine.

Hey Tara, great review, it looks so nice on you. I will check the shades and see if I can find a match. Try Shiseido's whipped blush, if you want to try some other makeup item from Shiseido. It is really good. I also like their lipsticks. They also have pretty decent skincare line, specially sunscreen.

Wow, you got on this fast! I remember really enjoying this foundation but could not find a shade match. Glad to hear they do have more neutral undertones, it was so orange/yellow for me. You know I was just thinking. The new smash box foundation is hard to remove. I have eyebrows like yours and I’m thinking about maybe getting a few samples in the deeper tones and maybe use that to deepen the skin under the hairs I comb up to create a thicker eyebrow. Hmm. In this video, I mentioned this item was not available using the Flash shipping through Sephora, it was restricted and has to be shipped with ground service. I sent an email to Sephora asking them why this was, and this was the response I received. "This item is very fragile, and it has to be shipped via ground, to make sure it doesn't break during air transportation. Tara Lynn, thanks for sharing. I noticed that you haven't had many breakouts lately. I suffer with adult acne around my chin/jawline as well and I was wondering what you've been doing to keep breakouts away. I don't think the peel you had would help with the breakups but it did help with your malasma. Any changes in your skincare?

I was getting ready to film a skin care update video. But, the only thing I have really implemented that I think has made the difference is that Peel from The Ordinary. It's actually made to treat blemishes and I love it. I was taking Spiralactalone for years and just went off it about 6 wks ago and I was worried my acne would come back, but it hasn't. But, the best thing I ever used was the Obagi Clenziderm. And you don't necessarily need the entire system, the most potent product is the therapeutic lotion. Shiseido makes some of my all time favorite base makeup products. I'm only 23 but my skin is persistently and chronically dry dry DRY. As a result I have lots of fine lines under my eyes that are due to dryness, not age, and so many products accentuate them and make me look like I'm NOT 23

For me, i prefer the Givenchy Teint Couture, because it looks a little more natural on me. However, for the reasons you mentioned above, I think the Shiseido would work best for all the things you need in a foundation💋💋💋 Hope that helps💖💖

I ended up picking up this foundation from my local Shiseido counter in Tokyo and I swear they must put pixie dust in it as my skin has never looked so flawless.
