yes parker basshead uses taramps 12000. he said decent brazillian amps, but didnt like the adjustment knobs cheap, but i guess its still holding up!!

I can tell you I run two ds18 gen x subs both at 2ohms rated for 2400 watts combined and this thing smacks definitely bang for buck cause I paid 160 for mine on Amazon 😂 with free shipping along with some bolts for my tail lights you should definitely invest in one

The smart cooler on this HD 2000 is as noisy as the Soundigital SD1200.1D. And it's because the SD1200.1D's cooler is internal.

Both do rated power, the taramps requires at least 200AH of reserve with a 150amp Alt, the 1800 can be ran with stock electrical if your careful and an extra battery if you really wanna be safe, takes power to make power it doesn't come from nowhere

@@windytokes crazy what happens in a month. Had the 1800.1 and the VXF-12 for a week. Now I'm running a Sundown Salt 4 and a Xv3 12, with two XS Power AMG batteries D4700 under the hood and D1200 Auxiliary. JS 320amp Alt is coming next week.

The audio pipe F1 are great amps. I think it’s similar quality to taramps. I think taramps has better protection circuitry though.

I'm fairly certain the HD series isn't intended for use with subwoofers. To pair with subs, SMART, SMARTBASS, MD or BigBoss series.

Audio pipe APHD 1500 I like better. both are good but the APHD will have better output in the low frequencies 35hz and lower.

These amps aren’t designed to be great on dynamic bursts… so for the split second the amp doesn’t need to draw nearly as much amperage as when it’s under a steady load

Depends on how long the wire run will be. Look online for wire amp capacity charts. I would definitely use OFC.

That's what my manual for my taramps 2000hd says to use 4ga wire and have at least 115ah power bank.

On the taramps website it says the amp takes a 100A fuse for regular use. I put in a 150A fuse and it’s making both my subs pound. Anyways you could use 125-150A fuse in an ofc 4Ga wire that’s up to 13ft long. If it’s 13-15 then you can do 100-125A
