So I'm just starting off in the world of drones and notice mode 3 was the most natural (I tried to retrain and learn mode 2, but it didn't work). I discovered I could change modes easily with an android app (in case my friends found mode 2 more natural) but the "loose" stick became a problem. Your comment at 1:16 was the solution to my problem and influenced my buying decision. Thank you so much.

My black taranis qx7 has the throttle on left, as it should be and it didn’t have any spring in the up and down, so maybe the white one is just different

How can I get the Hero session 4 video feed from the quad copter to mission planner hud ? Is there such a thing as a wifi transmitter I can setup on the drone that will connect to the camera and send the feed to a receiver I can install to the pc , and get the signal to the mission planner hud ? Anyone know ? I need part numbers ! Or do I have to install an separate FPV system , and just turn the go pro on record when I take off ?

I have a Devo7e that I just murdered trying to add modules to it. To get it to work I have to solder wires to Individual pins coming out of the cpu :/ I think ill just get this radio.

scaremsaxe63 I'm not sure but I think there's a USB stick for FrSky RC's to connect them to your computer and use them in a Simulator. search for frsky usb wireless dongle.

Yes the flysky i6 can be hooked up to your computer for flight simulator use. You need to purchase a cable for that. I use mines with fpv free rider.

How do I know which of my quads it will bind with? I habe Cheerson, JJRC, Wltoys, Syma, XK Syma and more. Do I have yo install receivers?

How do I find which one it is. Is there a list out there somewhere. I,m a newbie when it comes to controllers outside of what came with the quad. So I'm guessing out of the box the Taranis won't bind with most/any quads.

You'll just need to get a receiver that compliments your radio and you can put that on almost any quad. Also there's a new multi-protocol radio out that should bind up with at least one of the makes that you mentioned.

Hi ... Can you please tell me the prime differences between the EU and Non-EU versions and what this means ? Does it output less power in Non-EU version etc ? I'm in Australia, so am not sure which version to buy ? Cheers :)

Paul I also confused with that too. EU version is 12gr heavier than the standard version. 1302 vs 1314 according to Hobbyking website

Better depends on a lot of factors. Budget, needs, and what you'll fly.

I have used spin wheels in many digital products and I found them inaccurate and with time you end up fighting with them I much prefer buttons for that reason

I also think if you look up how these kind of antennas work it's kinda better to have it like upright. Not pointing forward, but more like pointing it forward and then raising it up so it points to the sky in front of you. Also I guess heli pilots don't really need that much range but just to have it at a certain angle so no matter where the heli points, in that close range it's gonna have best signal...

Love my Taranis X9D. Mine was purchased before "plus" happened, but I can live without haptic. I add and edit models using CompanionTX anyway, so "better" menu access isn't much of a win. So, NO sliders. A "door" to break off over the USB and micro-SD. White case guaranteed to look soiled from day-two. So which do you value? Having your radio look like a Storm Trooper? Or having it act like a reliable transmitter?
