Normally, there is no such thing as any style being age specific, but a disconnected haircut could be too extreme for the working professional. Modern pixie cut hairstyles may seem too mainstream for someone requiring only a bit of sass, so if it’s the case, allow your stylist to add some “neat” texture throughout. Using a little pomade to emphasize the texture will do the trick in adding that missing spunk, and also a bit of shine.

@@dawnah1559 i personally think its sloppy work, no precise sectioning and shes just hacking. Shes also taking to much hair while shes cutting. This haircut is considered a 45 degree hair cut in the occipital area of the head and towards the nape and taking to much hair doesn’t angle the hair the right way thats why it doesn’t look blended. In haircutting, sectioning is very important.

Oh deary me. Front didn’t look too bad, but the. Back looked like a bowl was plonked on her head. 45 degrees cut would have worked out better at the back. And cutting dry hair. !!!!!! I appreciate they have been taught differently but I cannot see a common ground anywhere.

There should be a guard on the clippers, No fading at the back, No guide, my God her technique is absolutely awful. She makes up the cut as she go's along. She should give up the Scissors permantly.

@@jaynekittycat9252 she does not know how to do a fade. Those clippers she always uses is a piece of crap. The guard on them is just one piece that u slide up and down like a pair a man might buy for home use. I have 4 different types of clippers i use. She has no idea how to use scissors over comb. I dont understand why she doesnt give herself guides or parts off. Thats like hair cutting 101. Hair cutting is an art but you cant drop the technical or you will achieve nothing. At the end of the day our heads are not a piece of clay that u can mold into what ever u want and wing it.

@@sewforlife5728 I know it's frustrating to watch her cut and your correct those clippers are for at home hair clippers I'm with you I would never use unprofessional equipment clippers have gears and proper speeds I have 3 different ones it looks like cheap generic ones she uses and the sound of that scissors they sound so blunt and choppy and you said a shelf at the back I said window ledge it's so harsh not flattering for woman at the nape I can't understand how she gets clients to participate in the videos once they've seen her work is she an eastern European celebrity stylist ? it's total car crash from start to finish

If she is the best i hate to see the worst...lol she needs to stop doing short cuts period. Especially ones with a stack or wedge. She puts that window sill in there and she seems dumb founded at how to get rid of it..lol

Tive a impressão que a cliente queria tirar as pontas loiras espigadas, por isso optou por um pixie muito curto. Porém como a raiz dela estava grande, a parte da nuca ficou escura, dando a impressão de um formato em tigela onde restou pontas descoloridas. Se a cliente tonalizar o cabelo com um tom mais escuro (loiro escuro) o corte ficará mais harmônico. Mas aquele cabelo não aguenta uma nova descoloração, as pontas estão só o bagaço.

So many negative a cruel comments in regards to this ladies skills. I have been a hairdresser for many years... I have seen technically very good cutters with no design skills and tecnically poor cutters with amazing flair. What matters is the end result and the satisfaction of the client. This lady has a very keen eye for detail and produces lovely work as an end result. That is what matters. Not everyone has been trained the same. Not everyone cuts the same.. What matters is the end result. Too many negative people trying to drag someone elses work down. Id rather a stylish imperfect haircut than a perfect generic "from the apprentice handbook" anyday!!!!

Nope, technically poor, artistically weak, half ass skill set. That client will have to spend far too much time getting ready each day, trying to get her hair looking any way decent until that cut grows out. These type of haircuts are the reason I have a third house.
