Caretaker Government differences: INDIA - immediately after announcement of election results on 4 /5 June, prime minister Modi goes to president and submits his resignation. President immediately accepts and requests PM to continue as a CARETAKER PM till the new PM takes oath of office. During this time the government is called caretaker government and can not take any new decisions of any kind. PAKISTAN - A caretaker PM is installed by someone nobody knows and oath is administered by the Chief Justice. He forms government and installs a huge cabinet of ministers. The PM and the cabinet ministers set out on eloborate foreign tours and make all sorts of foreign policy and administrative decisions, including change of rules, appointments etc. They go on extending duration of the government and election dates, for the sole purpose of conducting elections.

Both Cheema & Tarar have NOT understood that NDA (National Democratic Alliance) is a pre-poll Alliance which won in 2014,2019 & 2024 Elections alongwith BJP.
