No words or video can do justice to the beauty of the lighthouse and surroundings. We have just returned from another wonderful weekend at the lighthouse cottages and hope that whoever is fortunate enough to take ownership experiences as much joy as it has brought to Marion,Dick and their family. Truly a magnificent place !!!!

I've had the pleasure of meeting Dick and Marion through the rental car firm of which I work. A lovely couple and although I've heard of their lighthouse cottage, I'd never actually been there. Absolutely Superb. All the best to you in California.

im in the port just now. freezing. was just there at the cliffs under the lighthouse a few hours ago. braw moonlicht nicht tha nicht. rugged ground. crazy small feeling next to the north sea,between the two firths. hope you pair are well.

The asking price in 2012 was an amazing £298k. Difficult to establish how the sale progressed.

The tower is NOT the highest in the United Kingdom, or Scotland, as mentioned by the author of the video. The Lighthouse Comission website says: "The [Tarbat Ness]lighthouse tower is the third tallest in Scotland (North Ronaldsay and Skerryvore being taller) and bears two distinguishing broad red bands." It would be great if the author would make a correction stating the false statement.

Actually, he doesn't say it's the highest tower -- he says it's "one of the highest". It is the highest tower on the Scottish mainland. I don't know about England.

If you listen to the author he says, "it is one of the highest towers in the UK".
