It really needs a manual, and this video - even though silent - will show you much of what you need to know. Delete button clears the current recording. Record button records up to 60 seconds of Audio. After recording a new button appears under record button that allows you to hear the ungranulated sample. The mic button allows you to monitor incoming audio 00:52 Play with the sliders to adjust start / stop areas 01:16 Drag the dotted black lines to adjust the grain envelope. The keyboard is set to certain scales selectable on the left, octaves can be adjusted and scales can be edited 03:37 Each grain is a small fragment of the sample's start and stop bounds, where each note plays two grains concurrently. Control the grain root length and the minimum and maximum possible length multiplier. The grain play direction can either be forward, backward or randomly both. Sounds are created by taking smaller fragments of a sample and playing them back in a non linear fashion, with settings for grain size, direction, step size and more. Plus all audio parameters can be modulated by MIDI, as AU parameters and by aftertouch on the build in keyboard. Making this demo REALLY put me in the mood for diving back into some of Erik's apps that I still don't understand well, one of our quirkiest devs for sure!
