I think that it might be because with Matt Smiths console room it made a more mechanical and electronic sound but with this one it's more soothing because it sounds more natural and organic. Which I liked that they did that with this console because the Tardis is a living thing.

If you listen carefully the main noise you hear is her breathing. Listen a little harder and you can hear the heart of the Tardis. I don't think that many remember that she is a living thing, capable of being hurt and loved. It's calming, in a way. The kinda calm you get when you lay your head down on a loved ones chest and listen to the steady thrumming of their heart. It makes you feel safe.

If you listen closely, it sounds like she's singing! It's more of the pitch making kind of singing and they sound like an airplane trying to land but you can make out the notes. It's almost like someone's playing an odd, distorted and windy pheromone.

Sounds like the tardis from the 2150's that haves an engine that runs on Petrol, Kerosene, Natural tardis fuel, Artificial Cherry and grape fuel (Natural gas mixed with Cherry and grape oil), Diesel fuel and apple juice. Oh god! This wonderful noise may have driven me insane. I put this on to fall asleep to and it worked great. Stupid youtube automatically put this on next since it's obviously "similar" (Can You hear The Drum Beat Doctor?) I was deep in REM and listened to the 4-beat drumming for 2 hours before I woke up panicked and launched myself at the computer to "MAKE THE DRUMMING STOP!". What must that have done to me? :) Now I know what the Master went through.
