The fact that a specter of Glynn’s post-accident state and of Philip’s accident, as well as what might be Gladys in the far future, makes me think that the Coffeepots might be cursed.

I see that you read the RWS version of the Coffee Pots biography. Poor Glynn in that universe. 😢 As for Phillip, his death was brutal. Caused by his own stubbornness and jealousy towards Toby. Died like Percy in Tines Sensathe’s MYSAERY.

Well I can’t say for sure but Glynn is a wise coffee pot engine like Gladys and if there was a coffee pot engine No.5, he would be called Glen and he along with Philip would be cheeky and rude to anyone until they got their own comeuppance of trouble and death, but I thought that if they are shown in trainz reaction like The B Class Bullies then maybe just maybe something interesting will be surprising

Great story! Philip sure met a brutal fate. One that could have been avoided had he just been a sensible engine. I'm glad that Gladys was preserved. But that creepy cliffhanger has me wondering, will there be a followup story of Gladys one of these days?
