This was really spooky. I loved the atmosphere used for the scrapyard. Poor James will never look at scrap the same way again. The man who made the “experiment” got what he deserved, though I do feel sorry for him off course. Great works on this adaptation Mickey. Keep up the good work.

Imagine living near a track that’s not used much, but suddenly, you hear the sound of the strange puffing, rusty wheels turning, a slow, mournful whistle, the sound of whispers, and then… the giant shape rolling past. You know, I think this tells us a message in a way. The "message" is that there does exists fates that are more cruel and not as forgiving as death. The fate of eternal suffering like what the 3 engines of the "Killdane Experiment" have to go through, makes you want to wish you were never robbed of your final reward of eternal peace, let alone being reborn as a Frankenstein and suffer eternal torment.

That "Ghost Engine" remind me of the "Halloween Engine" from the episode Halloween which is "recycled from Gordon's scrap model with Murdoch's chassis and one of the old tenders from the third series episode, Tender Engines." The lack of a face make that engine scarier and the tale of Killdane Experiment is a haunting and sad one, because of a young engineer's action, these engines were trap, endlessly begging for the peace that was deprived from them, and they'll never get it

That killdane experiment is a A1 class engine. He's one of Gordon and flying Scotsman's younger brothers in 1966. The one James Saw last night. It had been over 67 years ago. In 2023. Poor Guy.

@@SeanSearcy you got that partly right The body and boiler was from an A1 however the chassis was from a 9F The 9Fs were the largest and most powerful steam locomotives Britain had ever seen. The last one ever built was evening Star who is currently preserved at the national railway museum in York

Ironically, I can't blame the man for what he did. He was trying to help steam. I even came up with a rather unrealistic design, an N&W A Class 2-6-6-4 with the drive wheels of a Pennsy T1. I might just adapt it for my own spooky story.

I find this story more sad than scary, it’s literally a story of a man who created a Frankenstein locomotive monstrosity out of DEAD TRAINS and ended up disturbing the souls of those who owned them parts, now them said souls are haunting the area for they’re stuck together and can never rest peacefully ever again all because one man decided to “play god”

My version of the Killdane Experiment is generally the same. The main differences are: - NE region tender replaced with an LMS Princess Royal one - GWR Castle Class Cab - SR N15 Smoke Deflectors The A1 boiler and 9f chassis remain the same

I love the way how the Killdane Experiment looks like and possibly if it was an actual engine. Though I don’t think using rusty, scrap bits of different engines be a good idea to use for construction. PS to everyone: never use old engine scraps to build a new engine for you just ruined their rest.
