Confusing messages about whether they want to sell clothing to more than half of women in America. Salesperson seemed to imply plus starts at 14, which is easily more than half. Feels too much like they are sending a message about not wanting plus sized people to shop in store.

Madewell used to have a lot more in the plus but every time I look now their variety stinks for plus size. I think actual they had more tall plus size and now not

How annoying. “Quite a few” should mean more than three styles. However all three styles look really good on you.

I can remember being a size 00 or XXs, having trouble shopping and having to have the waist taken in in my teens/twenties, but now practically every store has those sizes in the store. Yet the average American woman is a 16. I truly don't understand Why/how stores can get away with not stocking plus sizes. It was ridiculous that you only had 3 pairs to try on and no shorts in the South. It is cruel and insane to make women have to order online. The shopping experience is NOT replaced by online. What if you want something to wear tonight? What about the things you try on that you would not have for one reason or another, that turn out to be perfect. Or just having fun with your bestie or best sister? This is just WRONG. If you can make room for the very small sizes, the same should be true for the other end which is closer to the median anyway. Shame on MadeWell for that and not telling you that they had VERY limited items in your size ❤

I despise the whole order in store and wait for it to get shipped.I went into the store to get it that day, not wait longer. I'm not a fan of cropped jeans, but it did look like they fit pretty good. I would love the comparison of old navy and madewell.

How can someone think 3 pairs is a lot of options?! Frustrating! … The idea of a Madewell vs Old Navy haul would be fantastic! … I do own Madewell denim and really like them. I prefer mid-rise though and find that most of their plus options are high rise. They wash & wear very nicely.

I'm in favor of a comparison haul.👍 I wonder why some clothes companies stock plenty of plus size items online, but very low selection to try on in store. What's up with that? ❓(There's a question to sink your journalist teeth into, Taren!) Does plus size fly off the rack very quickly? If so, you would think they would keep it in stock to sell more. 💸💸💸

I’ve tried multiple times with Madewell and haven’t had much luck with their denim. I do have a store close by so returns are easy. Instead of Madewell, I’d love to see you do an Anthropologie or Spanx haul. I’ve had a lot of luck with their denim and house brands.

The jeans were not flattering at all. I have seen them in Nordstrom Rack. But always end up getting Democracy jeans. Please do a Nordstrom Rack Haul. I have heard the Madewell T-shirts are amazing.

Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack often have Madewell on deep discount. That’s sad the girl at the store thinks 3 is a lot. She probably didn’t even know what plus size meant.

Madewell jeans have never looked right on me and seemed to run smaller. Cute cuts/styles though. I do love them for other pieces though. Old Navy has been my fave for jeans for a while now and randomly target the last couple years. Im a 14 sometimes 16 in jeans depending on cut and fabric.

I am based in the uk and was in US earlier this month…bought some fantastic pants in Old Navy and spend a small fortune in Torrid! I love their jeans and soft t shirts….hope i can use up my torrid points from overseas!

I adore Madewell jeans. My store never carries anything more than a 14 in store which is annoying. Old Navy jeans don’t fit me at all for some reason.

I didn't call ahead but I went into a madewell to try on jeans. I hated that I had to ask people to pull jeans for me. I wanted to just pull the size I needed and not have to chat to anyone if I didn't want to. It made me feel embarrassed in a way. The sales lady I had was so nice and I did find a pair I liked but not sure if I will ever go shop in store again.

I don’t think Old Navy compares to the quality of Madewell but I think Torrid jeans would.. I love the Torrid Bombshell style jeans with the elastic in the waistband for fit wise!..❤❤ I think Madewell is way overpriced in my opinion…☹️😬

I got some Madewell button fly skinny jeans from Poshmark and loved them so much I bought the other pair listed in my size. I'm short, so wide leg and cropped jeans aren't my thing. They're cute if you're taller.😊❤
