You fly the hell out of that heli. All the way to the edge. They had to reinforce the frame knowing that you were going to get that one. Sharp, crisp, perfect flight.

Tareq, Im always amazed...your brain is wired differently!, I couldn't 'learn' to do what you can do indistinctly in 100 years!!...its strangely relaxing to watch! good stuff bro!

wired at 90 and 270 degrees primarily, lol
@artconnolly951910 жыл бұрын
It's actually a very simple explanation. The blades simply reverse pitch to enable inverted flight. During a routine like he just flew he probably reversed his pitch 1000 times. And BTW nothing fake or photo shopped in that video. He Flys amazing and is well know in the rc heli community. And to some he's considered the best.

Can someone explain to me how it maintains altitude when it's flying upside down?
@Tobias578610 жыл бұрын
Flat rotor blades and the ability to change the blade pitch so that they provide negative lift.
@grits01110 жыл бұрын
Tobias W. Kjeldsen That's just wicked.
@RobBulmahn10 жыл бұрын
Tobias W. Kjeldsen Actually, they don't even needed to be flat. Even asymmetrical, cambered airfoils can provide lift at negative angles of attack. In this instance, it'd just be a matter of pushing the collective down, rather than up, while flying upside-down.
@neil78b10 жыл бұрын
Because the blades can twist, so when the heli goes upside down they remain right side up, so to speak.
@cymonaretz602210 жыл бұрын
neil78b The blades are a symmetrical airfoil and the blade pitch is controlled on one stick from a negative value at one end of stick travel, zero degrees pitch when the stick is centered and a positive pitch value at the other end of travel. For example with stick at top = +13 degrees pitch on the main blades, center stick = zero degrees pitch and bottom stick = -13 degrees pitch. If the Heli hovers upright at say roughly +6 degrees then if the heli is inverted then it should hover inverted at -6 degrees. Hope that explains things a little for those that dont understand how these awesome machines can do what they do.

I can't be the only one who wants to see sensor output data (mags, accelerometers, gyros) on a flight like this.
@blackfox716110 жыл бұрын
its not fake, but the video has been edited, the cars are normal speed on the side, but the actual video of the heli is doing double or triple speed to make it look crazy arse
