I always ask in my videos “why panini/topps” are you putting old players in your sets! If I want those old players, I will buy them when they played! If they want to put old/retired/HOF players in a current set, make a box that has only them, and then see if they sell any of those boxes!

Not that the other answer is wrong...its nice to pull numbered HOFers. But I don't want a numbered Jamal Anderson or Drew Bledsoe. The real reason is large checklist allows more production without saying the base cards are overproduced. Not many other Panini sets have a 400 card checklist. Its all about the dollar bill.

I was soooooo happy when you said something about the “old players” panini puts in their boxes! I wish more content creators would start saying something on their channels when they do this! There is over 1k current players in the NFL and in a 300-800 card set, there is absolutely no reason why they have to do that! And those concussion caps also! It would be nice to be able to collect a complete set of the players on my team I collect or even the Super Bowl winners, for every year (because of free agency) if they are gonna do anything, put the practice squad players on the cards not the ones that played 50 years ago! Keep it only current players! Awesome video!

What panini did to prizm retail is horrendous. I'm sticking with Mosaic for now, at least in those boxes you can hit almost everything. We'll see what Donruss Optic looks like.

Perry was a multiple All Pro, Pro Bowler and a defensive player of the year like early 90's. Vet cards should not be parallels tho. I wish blasters were still $20 like pre-2021, the value isnt there anymore.

Weird they did him in the Browns uniform most would know him from the Bears. Like the older cards but Prizm has too many base cards and you don’t many cards a box. They have a checklist like Score but don’t give you the amount of cards.
