I own nothing about Marilyn Manson, so give all the credit to him, I just like his music and put lyrics to the songs.
I get most of the lyrics from Lirama. ( lirama.net/arti... )

I listen to a lot of music in general, especially metal but no other band or artist has ever spoke to me as Manson does. He may be mainstream and everything but in my eyes, he's the best. I always come back to Manson. I'm happy, I listen to Manson. I'm sad, I listen to Manson.

A lot of people see this as an anti-Christianity song, but I see it as part of his retaliation at those blaming him for inspiring Columbine. He is sarcastically saying sorry for the murderous, messed up world that WE ourselves created. We choose to blame everyone but ourselves because we are too narcissistic, we see ourselves as too good to be part of the actual problem. I sense some genuine feelings here as well though for people's losses. "Sorry your Sunday smiles are rusty nails, and your crucifixion commercials failed."

That's true if you're an 18 year old trust fund babby with zero life experience. You sound like a leftist that finally woke up and realized you need to stop blaming everyone and stop leeching off your parents or roommates. ...But at the same time applying your solipsistic viewpoint on people that have actually had a tough time in life. You and your upvoters are so fucking brain damaged and spiritually infantile. Most likely vaxxed too. My condolences and good luck. 😂

Most of the Manson songs I like are his fast one but this is one of the slow songs he has that I totally in love with.. This song explain a lot of things I think bout this world in one song. Manson see the era of "Not-Me-ism" where if something goes bad the News, Press, Church and the public needs a scapegoat. #marilynmanson #MM

+Maddox Jackson I never implyed I'm a genius, I am just saying Manson is busy working on his new album Say10, and living his personal life to get on KZbin. He doesn't use an account on KZbin anyway. If he did, he would constantly be harassed and hated on. Marilyn is amazing, never forget that. Sorry if I sounded rude, just wanted to tell you.

It seems to be that way in most cases when exceptionally great artists put out an album. A prime example of that is "Appetite For Destruction" by G-N-R. The BIG HITS were... -Welcome To The Jungle -Sweet Child O' Mine -Paradise City All of those are great songs but none of those 3 songs make my top 5 from that album. My top 5 personal favorites from "Appetite" would probably be... -Mr. Brownstone -It's So Easy -Nightrain -My Michelle -Rocket Queen Only TRUE fans like us truly appreciate the songs by our favorite artist's that aren't necessarily among their "Greatest Hits"

I think that living with Marilyn Manson must be a real challenge since he is too smart to be willing to play an asshole for the sake of others. It must be very inspirational as well though. I always admired his creativity of juxtaposing various phenomena to express a problematics in a very deep, artistic and allegorical way.
