Target is a department store here in Australia like Kmart and BigW. Grocery stores are just that although my local Cole’s years ago did trial a US style store with food, clothes etc etc but they just went back to normal grocery store

Our target here in Brisbane has a lot of homewares and kids toys. I think your Hobart target probably has more clothing because people tend to go to Kmart for the homeware items. Did you say they sold food as well in the states?

we dont have kmarts anymore in florida at least (u.s) i went to one that was closing back in middle school target is as i remember toys clothes and food you could get bad quality seaweed and snacks

I just know it that target sells mostly target branded things and Disney licensed stuff. Big W sells mostly non-big w brands and licensed stuff. And Kmart sells almost only Kmart (anko) branded things. In terms of price it’s target, big w and lastly Kmart.

If you think about it, Luke grew up in a very sheltered environment, and from my knowledge was never really exposed to the grime reality of the galaxy. Luke is pretty much “that guy” at college who is very naïve about the world and happens to have been raised in a religious family.

Target Australia originally from Geelong. Owned by Wesfarmers no connection to US.

Just to let you also know KMart Australia also owned by Wesfarmers. It separated from US Kmart in the 80's.
