I brought these 2 weeks a go and the grip is next level and the dart lands in the board at the same angle every time. People need to remember that darts are a cheap hobby compared to most out there. These are worth every penny

They are very nice but the price is going to put people off no matter, some will like them of course but its getting the chance to try them, and if people cant get to try them first its a lot of money to pay on the off chance.

It is impressively machined, no doubt about that! Thanks mate, they did feel good to throw and I think balance was right, they were drilled out a lot from the rear so maybe I picked the right weight too :)

considering you get over 50 quid's worth of accessories. the darts themselves become a little bit more reasonable for the price. i wouldn't buy them myself as i prefer a different shaped dart, however they are very nice for any collection.

It’s true, China is capable of outstanding quality, getting rid of their reputation will take some time. I remember when I was a kid “Made in Japan = crap”. If I said that now people would think I was crazy. The darts are really nice looking, I’d have to buy two sets though, one for throwing and one for showing. 😅 Thanks for the review!

These make a change from the standard straight-barrel ring-grip models, but only way I'll get a set is if I win the lottery LOL 😆 In Australia they're advertised at $332.28 (reduced from $369.20) so still less than the Elysian 7 at $900 (reduced from $1000). Good job on the challenges.

Definitely a nice looking dart. Definitely out of the price range. I will just remind myself how much I like straight barrels 😂 Maybe as an after surgery gift to myself after the 3 months on that scooter. They flew pretty nicely for you. Looks like it was money well spent. Now if only they would come out with deep green!!!! Give Rocky some love and treats!!!!!

this is a VERY nice looking dart but unfortunatly also a very expensive one >.< but i hate to say the grip really really looks amazing, and i just love darts that have quite an aggressive grip too them so i might try n get me a set of these if i can convince the misses not to kick me out of the house first :D

LOL yeah its really the only reason I got them. I was invited to the Target HQ to try them out and also the launch event but its a fair way to travel and expensive on train so I never got to try them. I think I still would have bought a set though even if I did get to try them first as it just feels so good, shame they are so pricey though :)

Great video. Got my 02's two weeks ago. I like the grippy characteristics of the barrels. What concerns me is that someone posted theirs after a week or use, and they didn't hold up at all.

200 spondulix! That void at the back of the barrel better have the battery and electronics for the active flight surfaces - let the dart alter its path into the correct segment, every time. Nice looking dart - Nice review too.

Knowing that they will mark & dent like any other set might put people off. You'll pay £105 for a set of Taylor Gen 10 with no extras though & so many people will be OK with that. So if you break down the whole package, the £200 for these isn't that bad: 1 x fancy box = £15 2 x spare nano points = £25 1 x posh designed case = £15 1 x badge = £8 1 x booklet £5 1 x K-Flex £6 Meaning the beautifully milled barrels are £126. It could probably be £25 cheaper, but still

Do you have a chart of list of all your reviews searchable by grippyness? I recently have returned to playing darts. I was a junior darts player back in the 90's competing in provincials here in Ontario, Canada. Back in the 90's I played a barrel from a cheap mfg. Called sharkbite or something. They have a tiger shark strip pattern machined into what was full knurling. It was pretty grippy. They are 27.3g which I didn't' know until I got my own scale recently. Makes sense why the newer darts I've bought Winmau Black Out 26g ,Harrows Razr 28g, Designa Dark Thunder V2 Darts 28g all 90% don't quite feel the same to me. I've considered going down the rabbit hole of custom made darts... This machining style looks pretty grippy as well. However, with me being a middle griper. I'm finding it very hard to find a retail set of darts that is gripy the full barrel at my desired 27g... 28g is better for me than 26g.. but 27g is what I'm after. Would love to hear from others in my boat. Looking for a nice set of barrels, 27g with high grip the entire length, as well, I like this tapper to the points.. I think this style would prevent deflections in tighter groupings.. I'm in my mid 40's now and looking to get "good again"

I dont have a searchable function like that, its something I thought about but I think over the years I got a little more strict with the ratings and also probably the aging of my hands etc has had some affect on the sensitivity. There is not many darts that have a grip full length though and probably even less in your desired weight. A few you can check is the Harrows Ultra, Harrows Razr, Datadart Defender, I am sure there is more but thats a few that spring to mind.

Its a collectable, not meant to be match darts. At least thats how i look at it. I saw a review of these in the A-Z Darts channel, i like Jen Mounts😄, but they didnt look that nice on the video🤔 But they do look very nice in your review, maybe you have better camera equipment and/or lighting🤔😄 But yeah, a nice collectable if you can afford it🙂

Yeah it can be considered a collectable to many and some will still get them to play with. Thing is they are putting the darts out with a grip from an Elysian set which were really meant to be the collectable version so I guess these are meant to be the version to be played with, just a shame they cant bring them out cheaper as I think many would love them. For some reason they were not an easy dart to photograph well, could be the way the light reflects off all the cuts?

Thanks! I would like to know that too! lol Could be because you are moving your non throwing hand after taking the dart with your throwing hand. Or could be you are setting off from the oche too soon. Try practising by holding 4 darts, dont need to throw the 4th one though.

There are no extra machining costs.All their cutting machines are computer programmed! Press a few buttons and it will cut whatever you like. Just another excuse to rip off the consumer... For that price, id expect it to have a built in honing in device to the board lol

If you're operating at capacity, of course there are additional machining costs for more complex cuts (and probably higher scrap rates) versus other non-lathed darts, but they're nowhere near anything that would justify the cost of these relative to other darts. All the wasteful packaging (and the silica gel keyring) adds to the cost, too. Doesn't make the darts better. The stupid pin, case, box, and booklet probably add $30 to the price seeing as they can't have made too many of them. In the end, it's a show-off dart that is overdesigned to its detriment.

Well, you have to paid that programmer which made program, right? You have to pay a machinist on the machine. Its all in the costs, unfortunately. The machine bring you money only if its 0-24h working. You have to pay all your workers which are included in programming those darts, style of the dart, tools in machine etc. Its not that simple.

An absolutely grotesque price for these darts. They´re about 250 Euros at Dartshopper! If that´s the way Target is pursuing,then the 975 have been the last Target darts I´ve bought for the rest of my life. Ridiculous, Target.

You mean you bought the first 975 darts as your last Target darts? not sure what they cost now but think they were around £150 when they first came out, which was still a lot of money :)
