I know you use essential oils so you should try mixing like lemon or citrus fresh with baking soda and sprinkling that on your rugs! I do that every weekend and t helps a lot!!

The pet fresh carpet thing is bad bc of the chemicals and synthetic fragrance but you can do the same thing with just plain baking soda and it works as well if not better!

I can so relate! My mom has used Moonlight Path from Bath&Body Works for as long as I can remember. When I was growing up and she washed my sheets and blankie she would spray the body spray on my blankie and pillowcase. To this day every time I go back home I spray my blankie with it! I love that you love your mama's scent too :)

Hi Kristin! You said that you would like to incorporate more color in your home, so I was thinking that you could spray paint the item which you referred to as a "storage bench", and use it for either an indoor or outdoor potted plants holder, which you said that you also love so much. With the installation of your new swimming pool, you could choose a fun tropical blue or aquamarine paint color, and contrast the color of your plant pots. You could also go with a bright contrast, such as a hot flamingo pink if you should place the item outdoors on your patio! Home Depot has a plethora of spray paint colors to choose from. Whatever you choose to do with the item, I'm sure you will find a creative way to use it. Blessings!

I used that dog powder thing when my maltipoo was a puppy - it's AMAZING! You vacuum it all up, it's not meant to be laying on carpet permanently. Works great for potty trainers!

don't use chemical cleaners, they're full of horrible things for both you and the dogs! cleaning the carpet with baking soda and some essential oils works just as well :) (for countertops etc. I often use vinegar with water and a dash of castille soap:) ) there's a lot of info about this on Pinterest!

Kirsten for homemade chocolate milk just use milk, 100% cocoa powder and a lil honey and it tastes exactly like normal stuff! You can't taste the honey at all. :)

I don’t know if you do this or have ever heard of it, but whenever I go shopping for jeans/shorts and I want to know if they will fit my waist but don’t want to go try them on in the store, just take the waist of the pants and wrap them around your neck. If the edges of the pants touch and they aren’t tight or super loose on your neck, then they will like 98% of the time fit perfectly on your waist! Hopefully this helps you for when you go shopping next time! ☺️💞

My husband is the same way with bbq sauce 😂 puts it in everything. Try baking soda with a few essential oil drops for your carpet. That’s what I use to deodorize. It smells so good!

I’ve used that carpet cleaner before when my golden retriever was just a few weeks old because she had so many accidents on our rugs. It really helped freshen up our house! If you sprinkle the powder very lightly on the carpet and then make sure to thoroughly vacuum it up I think it’s fine. P.S. love these kinds of videos!!!💛💛💛

We’ve used that pet fresh stuff for so long on our carpet it doesn’t cause any harm unless the dog is licking it up or eating it!! But it definitely smells amazing!!!

I used to use that baking soda powder! No issues with my dog. I just would keep him outside while I let it sit and then vacuum it up really good. It makes the carpet smell so much better

Hi Kristin! I would not use the oxiclean pet product for your carpet because of the chemicals, but a good alternative that I’ve tried is baking soda with your choice of essential oils if you want a pretty smell, it works quit well and will keep your house smelling fresh and clean!! Hope this helps!!!
