My carry-on is usually packed full of "just in case" things... Tylenol, antacids, anxiety chews, gum, tampons, tissues, hand sanitizer... Kristin's just like "got my RX bar and my laptop and I'm good" XD

I usually pack everything I need into a carry-on. Did it for all of the following trips: 2 weeks in Italy, 1 week in New York and 1 week in Hawaii. Packing cubes are the greatest tool for packing! I wear my bulkiest items (e.g. shoes, jacket and hat) on the flight. And I use a backpack as my “personal bag” which holds items normally found in my purse, iPad or laptop, portable charger, disinfectant wipes to clean the headrest, seatbelt, table, arm rest, etc., noise cancelling headphones.
