I understood that reference. My mom, sister and I used to watch Steel Magnolia's all the time. It was a monthly thing with my mom and sis. When my mom passed away back in 2016 my sister had a hard time watching the movie at first because of the memories but now it helps keep her connected to mom in a way that helps her cope.

As a connoisseur of both dragons and dinosaurs I vote in favor of this being a dinosaur. The presence of wings/horns/fins etc would be better evidence of a dragon, but lacking these, looks like a dino to me.
