Hi, you might want to either buy or make a duvet for you blanket/comforter. It’s sort of like a large pillow case for your comforter. That way Bandit can snuggle in it too.

My son uses a weighted blanket and that was recommended - a duvet. I got his on amazon that was especially for weighted blankets.

We had ours done by The Container Store and we LOVE it! Makes the space so much more functional. You can skip the installation and save a bunch of money. We installed ourselves and it was easy! Good luck!

I have one of those trunks... My parents bought each of us one to take to college way back in the 80's. I still use it as a coffee table. No wheels though, guess they went to Target! I like the weighted blanket, it's like winter when you can snuggle under a bunch of covers. It's a practical replacement for you, rather than turning your thermostat to 50.

I LOVE home vlogs! I have been wanting a weighted blanket and am so happy you tried it out because now i feel more confident to try one. You can totally get a cover for it and just wash the cover. Apparently a cover will also add a bit more weight!

My cousins have a thunder vest for their dog which is basically a weighted blanket for pets. The extra weight calms them during storms and it works great for them.

Mine is 20lbs and I love it! It helps with my restless legs at night when I'm sleeping. Best Christmas gift ever! I would definitely invest in a cover but be warned! I can make the blanket a little warm if its like the one I have

Weighted blankets are really popular with people who have trouble falling asleep and the feels of the pressure soothes them. I nanny a 3 year old with autism and she really struggles with sleeping if she doesn’t have hers. I also know a few adults that if they struggle with sleeping they use one and it really helps.

You need flocked hangers / huggable hangers. They are thinner and not as heavy as the plastic hangers. Plus they save a ton of space. You will be surprised how much stuff you can get by just switching them out. I used the rubbermaid closet parts at Lowes or Home Depot. They were easy to install (I did them myself) and a lot easier on the wallet.

A tip for more closet space (not that you asked for one...lol), is to switch from the plastic tube style hangers to the flat, velvety style hangers. They sell them at Container Store and Target. I think they are Joy M. I didn't think they would work when I was watching the demo on the shopping channel, but they really gave me more room.
