Well, that answers my question on the 45 Colt brass video. Interesting thaty Henry X 44 magnum will cycle empty 44 special brass. I could be really interested in some double ended wad cutters to try out for Plinking loads. No dumpster fires here. You videos are always informative. I love hearing life in the background. Sounded like, maybe a baseball game, or park nearby. Trains and planes moving around. Americana brother.

Good info, was going to make up some of those specials too. Now I won't bother to try them in any rifle. Between You and Viejo, you've answered all My questions regarding feeding in Lever guns, except for maybe Win 94. But as I write this, I do remember trying the .44Russian in My Win 1894. Great information to save people issues. I did have a gunsmith have to drill an extra hole for the Marbles Tang Sight on my 20 in round barrel 38/357 model. The screw makes a difference. The head on the one he put in actually was a little tall & would catch the hammer when levered back. Fixed now. Appreciate your info. Take care. 🇺🇸 👍 🙏

I've wondered if the little ".45 short Colts" would cycle reliably in lever guns. Thanks to you; now I know. Wish they did, but yunno what they say, "Wish in one hand...."

I have a Marlin 1894 44 magnum that will feed 44 specials but not feed 429421 Lyman in 44 magnum cases as it exceeds overall length. It will feed in special cases. So maybe long bullets will feed i Schofield cases.

Agreed Same with one of my Marlin 357's it wont feed wad cutter 38 but WILL SWC 38!! Give it a try!! Good point!! 💪🏼🤘🏼😜🤘🏼👍🏼

I tried the bullseye rear sight that George used and didn't like if for my eyes. All of my lever-action rifles have Marbles tang peep sights installed. I can acquire a good sight picture very quickly with peep sights.

Nice rifle CW. Like that marbles tang sight too. Recoil on my 44 would cause the original sights to slip down the elevator. You were only on target for your first shot lol. Replaced them with some Marbles👍🏻

Love, love, love my Rossi 45 Colt. I've got a Marbles Bullseye on mine. The 92 actions are so easy to single load so I shoot several loads in mine that won't feed from the magazine. One of them is a 385 grain hollow point.

Both nice rifles, really like the tang sight, always have liked them. Too bad the short rounds are so much trouble. I think Fortune Cookie had issues with them as well.
