This episode we headed out to go and target blacktail in the gullies on light tackle! This time I used a float! I also explain how to tie the trace we use to target blacktail. Instagram: / rkfishing_22 Facebook: / rkfishing22

Hi guys, to all of you in the comment section who have asked where this is I'm sorry for ignoring these comments, but I don't reveal these spots. The problem with telling everyone the spot is that some people ( not necessarily you viewers) will abuse some of the spots and kill every fish they catch. Also you guys may be happy to hear where the spot is but another viewer may be upset becuase it was his secret spot and now it was given away. Im really sorry guys but I don't reveal spots to protect them, but if you recognize the spot, feel free to fish there, just don't comment where it is. Thanks guys

Blacktail are one of the most underrated species. They're fun to catch, you can catch them anywhere in almost any conditions with any bait. They give a good fight for their size, especially on ultra light tackle. They're delicious eating and bag limit is 5 so you can get 10 fillets in a day. And they're certainly not endangered.

I agree, they are fun. But I like to keep around 2 or 3, so that I limit my catch and don't catch my limit

Hi guys. I am new to your channel. I have caught blacktail as a youngster, but nowadays primarily flyfish for freshwater species. I have caught some grunter and kob in estuaries and was curious to try for other saltwater species on fly. Blacktail cane to mind, hence me coming across your page. Is this something you guys have tried? I am curious to see whether they would take a fly 🤔

Well, I plan on giving it a go next time I head to catch blacktail. I am hoping to go try for grunter as well

I have been catching black tail and some other reef species on float for a long time. Great to see you guys enjoying light tackle fishing. Where were you fishing

Decent black tail for a float. I've only caught small ones like that.

My best,4 pounder with a float.
@rupertmcnaughtdavis36494 ай бұрын
If you use a float you lose negligible tackle as when you retrieve the line floats on the surface. Also your bait moves about in the water naturally. Most of my non spinning fishing is with a float,caught most species including musselcracker .

When you're 60 your teeth will get blunt like mine and you will need clippers.

Bru I enjoy your videos, but how come you never disclose your spot. I fish for fun to destress, and would be great to experience rather than watching. Sharing is caring, just saying. From 1 enthusiast to another.
