Targeting rigid Autism behaviors with a behavior shaping technique

I hope you guys enjoyed this video. Kaidale and I have spent a lot of time over the years in therapy figuring out what works best for us. Autism parenting comes with a unique set of challenges and we’ve been blessed to have a dedicated team of aba professionals in our corner. It’s taken a while but we have a great routine of different techniques we use that really just encompasses how I approach parenting Kaidale. This summer my goal is to share all these approaches so that maybe it will give some perspective to other parenting looking for ideas. Of course, every kid is different and has unique abilities. So please take what I say with a grain of salt. I’m not expert, just sharing what we’ve found to be successful!
