I am constantly amazed what a place Romania is. Why does it not feature more in people's travels, blogs or magazines? The world is missing out. My good lady has already put it on our route to Bulgaria. Great host too. And I really believe most of the world is populated by good people. Can't wait to visit. Amazing country. Nice one. Happy travels.

The truth is that many people complain about the bad roads and the bad drivers....and its sometimes true! Like in any other country. But the overall experience compensate for the downsides. Beside transalpina and transfagarasean there are many many other places to ride and visit(in 2020 i did 25k km in Romania and i didn't manage to visit everything i wanted). The food is great, us romanians are usually helpfull, maybe some strange cultural diferences if you compare us to people in the west.

@@motorcycleadventures yo be honest the driving isn't that great in UK either! As bikers I think we are conditioned to this, whenever we come from. Friendly people, good food and beer, and epic scenery will do for me. Looks like Romania has it all. There is no way we are missing it on our way fown yo Bulgaria , and further. Thanks for the comment. Happy travels

@@teneretraveller8980 All the Balkans are like that. Romania is not on Balkans but they aren't that different apart from the language. Drivers are more aggressive than in Western Europe, but it's not that different than in South Italy for example. UK is different league though :), but it's way better than in Turkey for example. And it's affordable. And I don't worry about my bike in Sofia that much. My wife's bike spend whole season in front of my home unlocked. So it's safer than most people think. We have many people from UK living in Bulgaria. And most of them like it a lot.

What is the name of the round table in the Bulgarian ore Romanian? In south Albania we used to call it Sufran, I believe is Turkish word . When I was visiting my grandparents in the village, we used to ask my grandma to use that relic table so me and my cousin’s can eat dinner. Great video, very nice place to meet up with good friends.

Did you see the old buses? I will have you know that Târgu Jiu is the last city in Romania still using that brand. The design dates from 1979. And the world for that matter: Kharkiv in Ukraine scrapped them in 2013, and Pernik in Bulgaria withdrew them in 2017. The second to last Romanian city, Craiova, withdrew them in the first days of January 2020. Only in Târgu Jiu they soldier on...
