Revit gear is fantastic in my limited experience.. even the cheap waterproof overtrousers and rain jacket. However if people want to spend 1 or 2 thousand euros on gear it's fine.. but not me, back in the day we got by just fine and at a fraction of the price. Thanks for the great review Pavlin.

I am always listening to the background noises from the engine/gearbox. Not so the babbling of the author... no offense! What i am hearing is an incredible rough way of shifting... Every change of gear is clearly audible by a loud "CLACK" and that is not because of the gearbox of the 1250. Upshifts can be done without any noise.... Just shift in a different way!

The title of your video is very appropriate "this is madness " and the direction the motor industry in general is moving is maddening, technology is being forced upon us,in nearly every aspect of our lives, and getting out on our motorbikes has been one of the ways a lot of us have temporarily excaped from this. The fine tuning our skills of controlling the bike gives us a sense of achievement, as does the maintenance of our machines, by making motorcycles that can not be maintained by the owner, and can not be controlled (unless the latest software update has been installed)well thats taking a lot of the joy of motorcycling away from us, but we do have a choice as mentioned "supply and demand" we can just not buy ,keep our old machinery running, buy second hand bikes that are a bit" old school ".Some people will always want the latest bun not necessarily the greatest product released on the market, and maybe if i had lots of money I'd do the same, but would like to think not. My cars 22years old, and my nc750s is a very young 8years old, both mechanically sound and easy to keep running..

Even if it's a great bike, iconic I would say, T7 is not designed for long trips even if it can be used as such. You know, traction control is like airbags. It's nice to have them but it's better not to use them. The lack of traction control in 2024 shows us that Yamaha does not see this bike as a road bike even if we use it on long roads. In offroad we don't need traction control.

Mr Pavlin. I am 64. I was 11 years old when i got my first motorcycle (Honda 50cc minitrail 😁). After many motorcycles, mostly Yamaha, I bought a Ténéré 700 2024. Although I like it, the center of gravity is too high. Very difficult to recuperate. It does not need that much ground clearance. I am 6 foot tall. The seat is too high when needed to back it up. Do we we need that much power ? Other than that I love it.

I have owned and ridden an aprilia tuareg 660 for two years and rode 20000kms, half of it offroad. I sold it and purchased a tenere 700 than I’m picking up this week end. I’ll provide a non biased review once I have ridden 20000kms on the T7 😀. At the end of the day I sold my aprilia because of part availability in my region. It was taking 6 month to get replacement spokes or other simple parts.

Im english and have a international health card that covers most of Europe , Australia and New Zealand and probably more and that gives me free emergancy health care. I've had Accidents in Australia, New Zealand and Bulgaria and got hospital care at little or no cost. I'm 67 now so insurance companies wont touch me unless companies wont cover or want a very large premium. I had a bad accident in Pakistan and got treatment and bike repaired for little cost. I strapped the bike to a truck then put it on a train and got to a big city. If you worry about every eventuality you wont go anywhere. In Bulgaria ive had good hospital treatment for my broken leg and twice for an irregular heart beat, and had very good treatment Good advice as usual

US Cost for Morocco broken leg: First Medical visit $350, first ambulance $750. Second visit to hospital ER $1000, Orthopedic consult $500, second ambulance 120km $1800. Third hospital ER $1000, Orthopedic consult $500, X-Ray $450, Orthopedic procedure $1000. Total: $7350 uninsured. Insured the price is “negotiated” to approx 85% or $6248. If you have good insurance the insurance company will pay approximately $4685, leaving the Victim’s bill at $1563 . The deductible is expenses for the calendar year which usually starts with a largish number, mine is $5000, and that would be for expenses already not paid by insurance. If you have already paid $4000 in medical bills for the year, then the deductible would be reduced to $1000, so you would have to pay $563. In most cases you would have to pay the $1563 if you are close to home, and use a medical facility in your insurance plan “network”. If out of “network”, typically the patient will owe 50% of the highest figure, and the deductible WILL NOT APPLY. Hence if traveling you can be financially ruined even if you are insured in the USA. You have heard horror stories about the US Healthcare System, it is worse than you know. Medical bills are the number one cause of personal bankruptcy in the USA. Every bad scenario imaginable routinely comes to pass.

With in the EU it is the EU Health Card which is doing the job generally. Outside of the EU it is a travel insurance (generally not expensive). Travel incurance is about payment and mostly this is not a big problem if it is small things (independent whether you have been sick or it was an accident with your mistake or from somebody else). By higher costs discussion might start when the treatment was significantly more expensive than it is in your home country or when you have your documentation not together. Anyhow, this is only about money. Important is that the health system and the people on the spot react if you are really sick or injured. And usually they do independent whether this is the US or the Congo (like the Marocco example). Safe Journey and take care!

I have no idea what you are thinking of the suspension , it must have been adjusted by the owner , I have ridden (I own a T7 ) and suspension is so far better on the Aprilia it’s amazing , , the T7 suspension absolutely rubbish and must be modified . As far as the sound when you have an air box up high you are going to get a lot of induction noise , unlike the T7 where the airbox is under the seat . With your apparent experience you should have known this . I think this is the most biased review I have ever seen , very very disappointed in this , you need the grow up. Very childish review . And that is coming from a T7 owner .

I'm a European resident, so please correct me if I'm wrong. But if the ankle incident where to happen in the in different countries. *United Kingdom* In UK, you would pay nothing, because the NHS. Also, you'd probably wait 4 months to be administered to the emergency care post, because NHS. *France* In France, you'd be adminstered to the emergency care, but halfway through the process all the medical staff walks out because of a union strike. After months of bickering and negotiation, the emergency care staff continues their work after getting promised retirement at 55. *Germany* In Germany the emergency care staff will over-engineer a solution for your temporary malfunctioning ankle. *The Netherlands* You'd bike to the hospital with your broken ankle, only to find out your eigen risico (own risk) still isn't met, so you’re footing the bill. Meanwhile, populist politicians promise to cut healthcare costs, but after all the debates, the only thing they cut is the budget for your crutches. *USA* In the US, you'd limp to the hospital, but they'd deny you entry because your credit score tanked after not consuming enough stuff using a credit card, with money you don't actually have. They’d kindly suggest you apply for another loan to pay off your medical bills-assuming you survive the application process first.
