The vast majority of on-road punctures occur in the rear tire. Not sure why, but the data supports that the rear is most vulnerable. The front wheel is more apt to get a dented rim. So, the natural solution is a tubed front wheel, and tubeless rear wheel, and carry a tube that will work in both the front and the rear, just in case, as well as plugs for the rear. And a pump. And tire irons. And patches. And a cell phone and a credit card.

Hello, Pavlin, what do you think of my idea to sell my GSXR K4 750cc for an adventure bike, for example, get a new CFMOTO 450mt? Or, the other one that I like is old - a Honda Africa Twin '95(really wanted that motorcycle when I was young). I love my Suzuki, but it's a sport bike and I am 36 years old and a bit heavy. Of course I accept other suggestions for a bike :) . Good luck and happy riding!

Hi Pavlin. I did not read all the comments so sorry if someone already suggested this, but to carry the tank bag and jacket around on a hot day you may consider a packable daypack. It takes very little space and turns into a full backpack when unfolded. You can put your jacket and tank bag in it and keep your hands free when you are sightseeing. Cheers!
@motorcycleadventures3 күн бұрын
It has to be big and bulky and needs to be stored somewhere. I am okay the way I said.
@stoyansbg3 күн бұрын
The one I refer to is not bulky at all. When packed, it fits in the palm of your hand - a bit bigger than a pack of cigarettes. It is made of the same thin material some tents are made of. I store mine under the seat.

4:25 i disagree about the vibration. I mean, yes, it is there, but you just barely feel it in the handlebars, and when looking at the pegs, the major reason you feel it is due to the lack of rubber inserts on the stock pegs. you can buy the rubber insert and it improves comfort by a lot on a long trip, then you cna just take them off when you get to your destination. -> i am of course talking about having to drive over 300km to somewhere 7:51 you can show other things on the dash, just click the select button next to it. Yes, this is not as good as a proper tft

oh noooooo!!!!! k&n air filter oil is a poor choice for foam filters. it works 'alright' on the cotton pleates(I don't care for k&n) but for whatever reason it just runs off the oiled foam into clumps or droplets..... realy weird.

Thank you for this honest review. As I future Tuareg owner I really appreciate this review. I suspect that the choking sound you hear is the air going into the air intake. Also the suspension adjustment may be required for your own use. These are both issues that I will investigate before I buy the Aprilia Tuareg.

Elephant in the room. The Echelon has very little abrasion protection. If you go sliding down the road, it could just rip apart and who knows if the level 2 armour will stay in place. Recommended rating for road use is minimum A but preferably AA or AAA. I have the Rukka Remo-R jacket and pants. 2 layer Gortex Laminate like this jacket but with 500 D re-inforcement in the shoulders, elbows and knees etc. It is only rated at level B, a rating only for offroad. Very comfortable and comfort or rather discomfort can impact safety. If you are uncomfortable you might not be focused on the road ahead. The Echelon only has 400D in shoulder and elbows etc. Safety is a personal choice, but to make the right choice you need the information. I accept the risks involved with my choice. Feel free to make your informed choice. Ride safe my friends 😉

A few points. I have found that K&N filters do let dust in when used off road. The prefilter is a good idea in your case. I feel that a foam prefilter pretty much makes the main filter redundant and being of a smaller surface area than the main filter will require cleaning more often so as not to restrict flow. Do kit use K&N filter oil on a foam filter. It is designed for cotton guaze filters and has different properties to the one l needed for foam filters. Great videos. Thanks for your efforts.

That filter looks very interesting for desert riding and so on. If I ever do that I will put it. The best mod for me by far on the T7, was the high rally seat. So much better riding position and more leg room :)

My enduro from the 1970's came with a K&N and a foam sock. Most people removed the sock, but not a noticeable difference in power and engine longevity no-one would ever find out. Water ingress would be slower with the sock. The filter compartment allowed water to exit to the bottom of the bike like a carb. overflow tube.

Got to be careful when washing as water will run down the tank and soak the filter. I take the seat off and cover the filter with a plastic bag and me mind full where I spray . Also from the sides of the seat water can soak the filter. I personally use the funnel web from Australia but each to their own.
