The answer why the zips go down only on one side is simple - it's because of the side handle. Keep in mind that when the backpack is carried that way (horizotanlly), all items' weight pushes to the side. The pressure is even greater when you walk and the content is jumping inside. Zips can fatigue with time, so I can imagine a situation when the zip brokes and all items drop on a pavement.

@@foXnoMad double / double side zippers are really a plus point in cases like one zipper getting damaged and ease of access. *If I am buying this* the one side zipper won't be a problem for me because its got the sleek looks, compact size and features for storing things. Its a chance I would take for sure. ✌🤓
