I like the production value behind his videos. He takes a lot of time filming his ants and I strive to be like that eventually!

How do I move my hundreds count Queen Messor Structor from her tet tube running low on water? 🤔
@tennesseeantkeeper8206 Жыл бұрын
I have never messed with that species before but what I always do is tape the old tube to the new tube and leave the new tube in the dark and old tube in the light. They will over time move!

is there a chance that i kan send you a photo and you can help me and if possible how

13:11 This is actually a myth. While some ants may not be able to perceive red light as a color they still see light so it is not pitch black for them. That said, the red acrylic does absorb some of the light and makes it darker for the ants. Personally, I like to adjust my ants to light so I can always look at them so I find these red filters useless.

I caught a camponotus pennsylvanicus queen yesterday, she already has an organized egg pile. dont they have like a 10% chance of mating? my other camponotus queen waited 1 month to start laying lol! (Giga flex)

That’s awesome! And I don’t actually know the statistics of their chances of mating so that’s interesting. I hope your colony does extremely well!
