Correct me if I'm wrong, but the materials you farm should also be deducted from the profit. Theoretically, you could also sell them individually in the auction house. So all material costs should actually be added together and what remains is your profit.

No cos I didn't buy them for gold. If I farmed something it didn't cost me anything

@@iRossOfficial yup that's the mistake a lot of folks make when calculating profit, the items you use after farming have a gold value - you could have simply sold them for gold so you need to include that in your costing. It's a myth to think they are free as your using resources to farm (Vigor) and losing gold using them instead of selling - commonly known as the opportunity cost.

@@iRossOfficial no he's right. If for instance the farming mat cost 30, and other mats costs 60. If the resulting item costs 80 gold when sold, you're losing 10 gold when crafting the item since you could have just sold the item for 30 gold profit instead of spending 60 gold to make 20 gold profit.

Don’t forget you can swap.professions for 2000 silver! So in theory you can manufacture a ton of base resources and stick them in the warehouse. You then cut down on the gold your spending on buying to produce the higher tier items. Similarly you can produce gems and gear for yourself without buying from the auction house.

is there any way you could transfer gold from your alt chars to your main ? like listing an overpriced item you then buy on your alt with the gold you accumulated ?

Yes but to transfer gold to an alt requires real money for a elf messenger bag and can only send so many so often, so great way to counter bots and gold sellers

You can't. Everything you do in a character it is from that character. The only way is to sell in the action and by yourself(but you can only buy the cheapest item anyway).

I like how Spid crapped on the game and how pay to win it is, but yet he is playing it for several hours a day and it doing fairly as a so called 100% f2p player and guild which should not be possible in the pay to win game he has been describing

You can't buy gear, you really can't buy anything but a currency to sell for gold then you can buy power gems, the same gems every other player will have access too, you're essentially buying a small boost that'll put you ahead of players at launch for about 4 days and then poof on par with everyone else. Boost that's meaningless in pvp cause of scaling, meaningless in groups cause of scaling.

@@iRossOfficial there is. Like Diablo Immortal, you can get everything free but it would take very long. P2W you can buy the mats to get better stats/gems on gear. Currently this would only matter with PVE rankings as PVP might be balanced.... might just be Arena though

You can't pay to win. You can pay to get stuff slightly faster than others. But not massively. Advantage is extremely minor. The win part doesn't exist here.

@@iRossOfficial Not sure if you are contracted to say this but the game is definitely P2W. Epic gems are around 6k gold on China server right now. When you can buy crystals and transfer to gold... spend 3k USD and you will be full Epic
