They are trying to tell you that, the way Alissa can compliment her smooth vocals with Tarja in chorus is amazing they never would’ve thought it’d be great. And the they are also trying to say that Alissa’s mic flipping skills are fun to watch live. Of course the song is not about hanging and flips that would be ridiculous.

This is a dreamy, steamy performance. The entire band is at the very top of their potential in this one. Everyone was playing adeptly and enjoying it. It’s unique and creative with an intro that doesn’t disrespect clean sounds but instead utilizes them in order to provide a stark sonic nuance. Trying to sing on stage next to someone like Tarja is probably one of the hardest things AWG has ever had to do. Fucking nailed it, probably even harder for Tarja. You always see it when cleans are onstage with a Soprano, the Soprano has to try so hard to not drown out the other cleans.

this might not be a popular comment, but, i will say it anyways, the best thing to happen to Tarja was her split from nightwish, she has found her own identity, become so much better and also made a new genre of music, things she would never have done if she was still with nightwish, dont get me wrong, nightwish are 1 of my top 5s, but, come on TArja has been better and happier since she left nightwish
