Can't believe after those years she now does this song again. And I'm glad that her voice is only becoming better and better. I'm almost breathless listening to her singing such high notes. If only the vid was of higher quality.

Agree with you. Funny fact is that when you think that it needs Alot of training for her to sing over the loud instruments, guitars, drums and keyboards in symphonic metal, she actually feels more comfortable than when she's more operatic with a symphonic orchestra and a choir. She was born with a talent and she's turned it into a masterpiece. We're truly lucky to be living in an Era where we can all enjoy her singing 🎶

The Best performance Ever of this song was in Buenos Aires - 27/3/11 (it was better than the studio version). When this performance was uploaded on youtube, it was probably the Best one at that time... But Tarja keeps improving her vocals! But seriousely, if you Like Nightwish music, and Tarja, watch the Buenos Aires performance - 27/3/11 , it is even Better than this one! Well they first did this 12 years ago O.o singers voices change as they age even though most people's voices don't. I'll admit this live version sounds nice, it sounds more oparetic then any other times I've heard it. Either way it's still a nice sound.

Ambas versiones me gustan, pero en esta me gana el toque de Tarja. Se nota que la canción fue hecha para ella, sin embargo Floor hace un excelente trabajo :) solo que ambas tienen estilos completamente distintos, sin mencionar que un cantante profesional no copia, interpreta a su manera, y eso es lo que Jansen hace.

Interestingly enough, they never played it because she could not sing it. The band did do it live a few times in a lower key but the song just did not sound good lowered. There is a vid on youtube of them doing this live in 1999 in the original key and to be frank, it sucked. It is unbelievable how much she has improved since 1999 when she couldn't even hit the notes. The recording version she only was able to do once and it was kind of by mistake when she thought the mikes were off.
