the riser usually does not fit right is the step is not perfectly flat slight rise in middle of tread can make rise big, slight dip can make it short

Just like a floor moving off the starting line. Makes sense. Not only that but some manufacturers don’t require cove stick behind it. Which will make everything shift based on the pressure you use as well.

If you need x tra hands on heatweld, lvt, base, vct , treads let me know.. We r getting slow till mid January... Our main jobs are schools.... Military base, govt(small).. We have small repairs here and there

We done over 100 treads and risers as one piece, cove sticks between them ,in 2 weeks At new elementary school stairs Used rubber tiles glue on treads, contact cement can on risers. No double face tapes... Tugged riser to the nose to made smooth Between nose and risers. Used only 25 ft measurements tape, frame square, 10 ft straight.. paint brushes..
