another tip for day one of wipe, arena dailies/weekly are available at level 1 and give at least 5x the xp of a normal quest/daily in main tarkov and they give anywhere from 25-60 gp coins, so you could reroll those for very cheap and smash them out in like an hour. I reset my account recently and did the dailies and when i finished the 3 dailies and the weekly i was level 11

Great tips, generally you are the go to guy for tips and tricks on bartering and crafting. What you might have missed out to talk about is Arena- what i am curious about is how busted the login servers will be for Arena and if the shared experience and progression will work right away. I too will also probably play a lot of Arena before EFT to get access to the flee market faster.

And to prepare, clean your room and tidy your desk. Make some good food so you have ready and wont stuff yourself with fastfood. You will have better time if you take care of your life before you forget about it for first few days. Also if EFT wont let you in try arena. Those games are connected and you can get level and money from that. I know a lot of people do not like arena to much, but it is for sure better than trying to get in for hours, at least you will progress and your day 2 will be much better

Tip 6: Don't run into tripwires 😂 and on a serious note Tip 7: Make a little money first on your fav. map before you bother with missions (bar the found in raid ones). Makes going through missions so much easier, plus you won't run into players as much at quest locations. Makes the game more enjoyable, at least for me.

Another top tip. Scaving load times for the first week are hell. If you're half decent at the game just don't scav for the first week unless you're really desperate. Also helps you really build confidence with your PMC going into raids with lesser kits.

We MAY see some changes to this. Nikita hinted at maybe taking away the ability to select which map you can scav on, but we never heard any specifics about it. IF everyone just gets sent to random maps it'll level out a ton. If this doesn't happen, just don't scav on the busy maps. Streets, Lighthouse, Reserve... Also, pick night time for your scav. The que times are way less.

It actually depends on the server. For me at Middle East server Factory runs took 17 seconds to load in on average. On my usual servers it was several minutes.

Tio 1: Get lvl 6 armour and helmet. Tip 2: use meta gun You become imortal.... that's what bsg is reduced to after removing armour hitboxes.

my biggest tip for wipe day, if you can log into arena and send yourself the 1.5 million roubles you start with on ur arena account... worth noting that right now transferring items to EFT from arena is bugged and its a one way transfer only from EFT to arena but anything you send to EFT doesnt go through it disappears...so make sure this is fixed before u do

I think this is a big one - Spend the last few days this wipe in offline/PvE/maybe even online playing Ground Zero, refresh yourself on the map. Perhaps doing all the quests over on a fresh PvE profile if you don't have one you wanna keep. For people like me who haven't touched the map since doing the first few quests on it, that might help a lot to accelerate the first few raids rather than needing refreshers mid-raid.

Im hoping those quests were just for last wipe since the map was new. I thought Nikita said they wanted to make it so the starter quests didn't have to all be done on one map so the player base is spread over all maps and not trying to cram into one

If you are worried about PMC karma go BEAR. If you get karma from killing the other faction, there are a lot more usec then bears. Also if you lose it by killing same faction usec killing usec will be more common. Also if ground zero still has all the starter quests its going to be very hard for the first week again. If you are having trouble you can play arena for the first day to get xp to get up to level 15 unlock flea fast.

i know ppl dont like arena but if you cant get in on day one, or cant deal with all the errors, you could go play arena for a while, you will get a ton of exp towards your pmc account and you might even get to lvl 15 and get flea unlocked without ever running an actual raid!

@@Airwingmarine Ok, that's a good point. Guess it matters what "geared out" means to the individual. I'm a rarity, 5000+ hours, not a streamer, I have 9 wipes under my belt. For me personally this is an experiment in the early wipe snowballing effect. With the changes to flea, my intention is to come into the main game, at a high level, with access to keys from flea, and to just plow though packets of missions quickly. For me, early game frustrations are from the "wasted" raids spent hunting keys and just trying to get access to things. If I come in with access, it'll be more efficient. Also, for me, my "geared out" really just means that I have an ACOG and canted sights on everything, yes, I'm that guy. It's how I learned IRL to be a proficient shooter, from one of your brothers in fact, and I run my personal weapon set-ups in game for both AR and AK platforms as my personal form of role play. I'm a Trijicon/EoTech slut both IRL and in game. I'm not advocating this for anyone, just my personal science experiment to see if it makes the early wipe more enjoyable for me.

Im curious to see if the servers even crash this time, since (it seems like) they’ve lost so many people. If you are gonna play, these tips help. Just curious to see. The only thing that will ever pull me back after 6k hours is the pvp mode being fixed, all the audio issues. Audi dead zones, audio leaking through concrete ceilings. Scavs only having gun movement audio. Audio pops. Killa’s gun audio clipping. Flashlights phasing through walls. I don’t know, I guess im just sick of the incompetence, or indifference, whatever it is, im sick of it. I think im done. Got kappa this wipe, and im out. Good luck to all on wipe. It's not any faster by my measure. It's pretty close to the same. ON top of that, you won't make progress on any of your tasks. So you'll be level 15, with the flea, but not have any tasks done, so you won't really be that far ahead. The flea is a train wreck for the first 4 or 5 days of wipe anyways because so few people have it.
