@@theotherchase8442 We are talking about a multi-million dollar company here... the fact that patches are even pushed with this many game breaking bugs is beyond me. My QA department was all but 20 people strong and we were able to push patches even during beta mostly bug free. The issue comes from the fact that they really aren't well versed in large scale development (their only experience was previously a unity browser shooter) and their entire game is made up of a cluster of spaghetti code (in Nikita's own words). If they wanted to hire experts they could, but most of them are outside of Russia so they won't do that. Stop being coy and running defense for them, people pay them money for the product, upwards of 240 dollars for unheard edition which is ridiculous; and they have a right to be critical, we are consumers not beta testers. Putting 'Beta' before the title doesn't make the practice kosher

Audio is garbage people will sound below you but will be above you or you can hear someone from 50 yards away that’s stomping like theyre running next to you. There’s a reason Tarkov has dropped off in views it’s not what they made it to be which is sad because they had something good yet they ruined it with all their promises. Tarkov has had a plethora of time to fix major issues yet focus on adding new guns “because that brings the players” Rivals and events may bring people back temporarily but until they fix important problems it won’t be what it was. I get how some people can find Tarkov "progression" fun, but I played for a decent bit, and eventually just found it more annoying than anything, I'm grinding just to get misc stuff to increase my hideout, but that doesn't get me any real progression, and having guns is cool, but really that doesn't help me, my issue really came down to where I just had like 14 lightbulbs, and 12 wires, still needing more, and then even after getting that, Im still just going to need more, my stash is maxed with trash, my reputation with traders is so low that its just a struggle to try and get anywhere with it, the game does have some kind of enjoyment to it, but I'm still failing to see it outweighing the annoying bits.

Arena leveling was the only reason I bothered maxing last wipe. I always stop at around 39 because tasks get annoying and take place on maps I do t bother playing anymore. So for some people arena link is kinda needed.

People with little time have to be able to grind effectively without wasting hours trying to accomplish a mission with all the inconveniences of pvp, from bugs to cheaters alike. If you go for last hero in arena you get to lvl 30 in a few days, a player that plays few hours a week and is an average would take months unless very lucky. Also the rewards from arena are a big boon, especially for this wipe. The second i'll feel left behind, i'm switching to arena to fill the gap and unlock traders.

People say it’s RNG progression but loot spawns aren’t 100% random, everyone knows if you need salewas you go to a medical spot or if you need a screwdriver you search toolboxes If you know where to look you can get any item in the game without too much trouble. Including guns like an m4 or 416 which also have in raid spawns

Being forced to find hideout upgrade items in raid is the worst change I can remember since I started playing in 2021. That said, I agree with Aqua that this change caters to those who play more RPG like, and the game has been cash-focused. The flea just made sense in the game space to me. Let's say I rule Reserve and another player owns Labs. We can loot and earn from our respective maps, essentially trading items earned from our respective strengths.

That same sound glitch happened to me on woods at usec camp too. After I won a 3v1, the last one nading himself and then the sound went off. I got geared to the teeth, new edition player super scar, good armors. The works. Then I lay down somewhere to disconnect and come back. Then I accidently abandoned raid and lost it all. Without flea market, everyone that has lvl 1 or 2 traders can never put a competitive kit together against those with max traders running around with LPVO scopes, M80, and lvl 5 armors. The flea is the equalizer.. If they removed all lvl 5 armor and 40+ pen ammo from traders across the board, then we could discuss the trader/flea balance

I'd like to dissent, overall feels like i can track sounds reasonably well, but stairs are still a big blunder on bsg side. I got butchered by a dude in G0 that came up from under the dshk building stairs, i heard him only when he got a single floor below me, and i didn't even had the time to realize if it was coming from out the stairs or below. Also saw lvndmark had a pretty worrying interaction on custom, where a dude sprinting 15m in front of him outside the warehouse with the chemical van was making no sound.

So there'd be normal difficulty where it's just as it is now, and then a hardcore difficulty where flea is disabled for you but you get better quests rewards and better stuff from traders. That way both sides win. Want to be a loot goblin? Go ahead. Want to just grind quests and not really worry about money? No problem.

Speaking from a pure design perspective, they game-ify the systems for the sake of "Balance" but it makes no sense and only hinders users with less experience with the game, in a game that already requires hours of experience OR a wiki page to progress. Same for the "Can't drop items in raid" thing, which is stupid in a game where you are encouraged to work with friends to accomplish your goals. Does my toilet paper dematerialize when i take it out of my MBSS? If the FIR thing made any sense it would be better. There's no logical reason for items being "Found in raid". They should make some thing that at least makes sense in the "Hardcore realistic" way the game is portrayed to be. If anything, found in raid should NOT be useable, since they're technically more run down, dirty and pre-used. They should instead have some sort of... "import" feature where you can buy or trade any item for "pristine" versions from traders, which could then be used for tasks/hideout. It's stupid for traders not taking in items not looted on dirty scavs, as opposed to stuff you already had on your body for a single raid or that you bought from another player. And more stupidly, i doubt your PMC would be like "Oh no, toilet paper not found in raid, not using to wipe ass". "Want to build christmas tree but decoration bought on flea. Is no good, not enough christmas spirit since not found in raid" Rant over, love you daddy!

TL;DR: Aqua is partially correct. RNG is great IMO, but progress in a game like this resting SOLELY on RNG, is absolutely unfun I agree and disagree. The RNG of the market and of potential boosts is extremely fun! RNG PROGRESSION, however, is not at all fun. Progress being based on a chance of finding a thing is just aggravating and takes the fun away very quickly, ESPECIALLY in a game where not only not finding the thing hampers progression but then dying with that item can not only ruin the progression but also wastes however many hours you put into fining that item as well. So Aqua is partially right, there has to be a balance. But I think that should be aimed at making money and additional bonuses. Your progress should not rest solely on RNG.

no flee market is the best thing in this game. delete the weight system and we have fun game
