Across the planet, the reduction of carbon emissions is finally being considered essential. Having partnered with the Carbon Trust in 2011 to research the potential of warm mix asphalts, Tarmac are now celebrating over 2 million tonnes laid in the UK. In this video David Markham of Tarmac defines cold, warm, semi-warm and hot asphalt. We discuss the technologies available to achieve warm mix materials and explain the carbon total in asphalt.
