Welcome to my hometown of Tarnów! I am so happy to be able to share this beautiful city with you! If you enjoyed the video, leave a like!😊
@vodkila1945 ай бұрын
This wonderful town suffers of a lack of promotion. Nobody cares about its future; Tarnow lives in the past. Everytime empty, no life, very few restaurants, too many cars... Such an amazing town in Italy or Spain would be full of life. I think that major of this city doesn't do anything to promote it. It should be jumelized with Krakow, very near. Who knows Tarnow abroad ? absolutely nobody. A pitty. Good luck anyway Tarnow, hoping that somebody will finally have the idea of developing it (in the good meaning of course)

@@LukeGeeTravels In Tarnow, I was baptized in Kościół pw. Najświętszego Serca Jezusa on Lwowska 102, 33-110 Tarnów, and we literally lived down the block from this church. I was just a little girl when we left, and went from the beautiful weather there, to be placed in Houston, TX in the middle of the summer, lol! Talk about climate shock! I truly miss and love my birth country as it's been a while since I visited. Nice video. Czymaj szie!....Asia

@@LukeGeeTravels As soon as I am able to gather the money and make a plan, I will surely visit again. it was such a blast last time and I'm lucky to have family that I can stay with. Wonderful video. Well done. It's been a decade since I have been back in Poland. My grandfather was born in Dąbrowa Tarnowska. I am currently doing some research, as we do not have any contacts there. Any recommendations online to look (government, church, etc) would be helpful. Dziękuję.

A lot has changed! Poland has gone a long way over the years in terms of modernizing, especially the transportation - making it even easier to get around the country! As far as where you could look, unfortunately I do not know. Maybe putting an ad in a local newspaper? I am not too sure, apologies

Great video :). About, Pizza n. 13 they don't serve classic pizza but something like pizzerina, but that is how most of pizzas looked like in Poland in 90s... and this place started to operate then and now it's like memory of that times. Maranto is classic pizza restaurant, maby not the best in the city (there are at leas few much better often run by italians) but it's really ok and their Pizzas have specyfic polish taste. By the way they have pizza witch chocolate, U gotta try it :)
