78 total cards 22 major arcana 56 lessor/minor arcana (divided into 4 suits/each suit has 14 cards) 21-1 0 major arcana - strongest cards of deck - most impactful - bigger picture - long term direction/situations you may experience 56 lessor/minor arcana - everyday actions, situations, or decisions you may face Different types of readings: - question readings (specific) - general readings reversed card meanings: - weakened - delayed - complete opposite meaning of face up always be in calm and collected state Focusing one's intent and energy into the cards, changes the probability of getting certain cards. 1a. Calm your mind. Steady your breath. Clear the air. Set your intention 1b. Place receiving hand under deck, and transmuting hand on top 2. Shuffle until intuition deems necessary to stop 3. Split deck into 3 sections and allow intuition to decide which to place on top of each other. Do as many times as intuition deems necessary. 4. ("Fan Method") Place your cards in an array and pick out 3 cards you feel more drawn to than others. 5a. (3 Card Formation/NON-SPECIFIC READINGS) the first card you draw is the PAST, which is the context. Next card you draw is the PRESENT, which is considered the focus. The last card you draw is the FUTURE, this is the outcome. | | | 5b. (8 Card Formation/NON-SPECIFIC READINGS/SPECIFIC READINGS) the cards will be placed in a 3-2-3 vertical formation. First card is the THEME(1), placed in the upper middle. Next is the PAST(2), in the top left. PRESENT(3), middle left. FUTURE(4), bottom left. COURSE OF ACTION(5), middle. INFLUENCE(6), bottom right. HOPES AND FEARS(7), middle right. OUTCOME(8), top right. | | | | | | | | 5c. (Celtic Cross Formation/SPECIFIC READINGS) The first card you draw is the SITUATION(1). This card is faced vertically and will be your center card. Next, place the CHALLENGE(2) card horizontally on top of your first card covering bottom half. BASIS(3) card will be placed just below the intersecting cards. The PAST(4) card is placed left of the intersecting cards. PRESENT(5) card is placed above the intersecting cards. NEAR FUTURE(6) is placed to the right of the intersecting cards. Cards 7,8,9, and 10 are placed right of the near future card starting bottom up, meeting in the middle. The following are the meanings: YOUR POWER(7), AFFECT ON OTHERS(8), HOPES AND FEARS(9), OUTCOME(10). | | | + | : | |

It doesn't really matter which way you are holding the cards. When you take a card from the deck and turn it over in any direction, they way it lands is the way it was meant to be. I think you are over thinking it when you analyse which way you should be holding the deck in order for the cards to come out as they are supposed to. Not realistic in my opinion. its about the way the card lands regardless of how you hold the deck. Don't be scared and don't over think :) Also I think you could have done a waaaay better shuffle than that, after all the magic is in the shuffle right? But, yes each to their own :) Thank you

Hey I had a question and you seem to know what you're doing. How do some cards end up reversed and some not. When I shuffle am I meant to turn some? Because like otherwise they're all facing the same way

I have always done the Celtic cross with 10 cards but I noticed that you use 11. Can you explain the first card that you put down?

That first card is the court card. I did a video about court cards. It's the first video in the Tarot playlist. That should answer all your questions.

You shuffle. You pick and lay out the cards. And the cross faces you. The only time the client might do something is when the cards are cut. I say might because some readers don't want anyone else to touch the cards.

The piles don't have to be even. You are just cutting them in a random way.

The first card tells of the general info surrounding the question. The second card tell what forces oppose the first card, either good or evil.

You don't have to. It just helps focus the energy on the question asked. The court card represents the person who asked the question.

The placing of the third through sixth cards is Incorrect, the Celtic Cross has the third card on the top, fourth bottom, fifth right and sixth left.
