I am in Minnesota and we also have half-price books. I bought the first edition of the Celtic Wisdom Tarot for $30 😊. My tip is if it a used deck to count the cards before you leave. They keep their decks behind locked cabinets so I will have them take out the decks and then they usually have me stand off to the side of the registers and let me count them 😊 I usually take my mass market decks there to sell if I can’t find a friend to give them to.

Hey Tamipie! There is a half-price books near my house here in San Francisco. They also have several stores across the bay as well. I have found quite a few used decks there, although I don’t think I’ve ever ever found any Indie decks. So thank you for mentioning the website and checking there for decks as well. I love when you said “I might have to do something terrible with my husband to get him to buy these decks for me“. lol. Thanks for sharing!

There used to a half priced books near us but it closed down years ago and I'm the eastern side of the US. I shopped there all the time, especially for spiritual books in the late 90s early 2000s

The Pulp Tarot is beautiful. It's my brother-in-law's favorite deck. I think I'd rather have the Horror Tarot from the same creator, though, as I don't want to encroach on BIL's territory. 😂

There are so many awesome second hand book stores that sell decks in the US. We have none of that over here in the NL

@@tamipie I like flea markets too, but it's impossible to find decks in second hand markets over here. There are s few online platforms but the prices for decks are usually very high.
