This is an unboxing and first impressions walkthrough of the Tarot de Luz ( Tarot of Light) by Aitor Saraiba. This is my first deck by Fournier. To my knowledge, it’s not widely available here in the U.S., but I will leave a link down below to the Etsy shop I purchased the deck from.
This is truly a unique deck and one I will enjoy sitting with and delving into the layers! I would love to hear your thoughts! Thank you for watching and spending time with me!

Question! I just bought this deck as my first one ever! It called to me and while I'm loving the wise loving grandma vibes it gives me I am still new to the imagery and reading. Any tips on where to go to learn more about these particular cards?

Yes, the other deck I got was the Carlotydes decks…I have to film a video for that one 😉. The shipping was surprisingly quick, so overall…a very good experience with this shop! Oh…I had a lot of fun with choosing music for this video 😁.

Just received a parcel with this deck and another one that I ordered yesterday. I am in love! I am European so it was super cheap for me. I love its energies. it reminds me of childhood. It's kinda whimsical which isn't something I usually like, but there's a certain aura of mystery and cruelty about it. It also reminds me of Nicole Dollanganger in a bit, very similar vibe. Glad you're liking it!

wow. took me by surprise. didn't think i cared about it at first, but as the images started sinking in, i found it really amazing. i think it would be great to work with. like an extra spice from some other world to give some fresh perspective on familiar things. thanks so much for sharing this and for you thoughts and ponderings about it.!

Thanks for your review of this deck. I actually just bought in Lisbon, Portugal in a small esoteric shop. Unfortunately I wasn't able to look through the deck before purchasing it and was trying to get a sense of it quickly on my phone in the shop. I was between this one and Tarot de Carlotydes (which seems more beginner friendly) but the seller said she recommended this one, as it is more emotional and she loved the images. Having looked through it now - I feel really mixed about it. It's out of my comfort zone style wise - some of the images I absolutely love and others I really don't like or find confusing as to the meaning of the card (following R-W meanings that is). I am on the fence whether it will grow on me or if it's just not meant for me. I would love to hear if after spending more time with it, it spoke to you more and if it's one you use regularly.

You know, I enjoyed my time working with the deck, but it is no longer in my collection. I did have trouble connection with some of the cards even though I enjoyed the imagery so much. I’ve been actively been streamlining my collection and this one, sadly, did not make the cut.

It really is! I’m very attracted to this deck for various reasons, but it’s a deck I’m going to have to slow down with and see if I can read with it. Some of the cards really go in a different direction than I’m use to 😉

When I first got the deck, I used it for daily card pull and it worked great. But I got the feeling that I needed to use it for deeper readings and I started to use it for dream work and wow…that’s what I’ve used it for ever since! I use this and my Cosmic Slumbers deck for dream work and I haven’t really used the Tarot de Luz for anything else. That doesn’t mean I won’t, though. I have a feeling that it would be great for shadow work as well.

I like to pair them with my Queen of the Moon Oracle, Moonology Oracle, Healers of the Earth Oracle by Mandy Peterson, and my Elizabeth on Earth Oracle. I hopes this helps 😁

I have the Tarot Del Fuego by Fournier too and I love the size and print quality. I just wish the card stock was more sturdy. It's so thin and papery and I am NOT gentle on my cards lol and I wish they explained the symbols on the bottom a bit.

Funny. The energy I got from the hanged man was seeing this from another perspective. We can never know what's for the greatest good as that will truly never show until further down on our perceived timeline. Most people mean well. And sometimes meaning well is looking out for yourself. But all we really need now is to see it from another perspective. Seeing it with other eyes. What's hidden in plain sight but from another angle. Things arent always what it seems.

Hi, Bonnie! I did not know this deck. I only have one Fournier deck which is Dios de Los Tres and the images are quite crazy!! I would have loved the weirdness if the cardstock wasnt such a disappointment!! It is also quite small so I am not sure if this one is a bit larger? Hard to tell but the cardstock looks a bit better! Thanks for showing!!!

I’m not familiar with Dios de Los Tres…I’ll have to look that one up! I would say the size looks to be similar to a traditional Lo Scarabeo tuck box deck, but I don’t have one to compare it to. The cards are smaller and a bit thinner than a traditional Llewelyn deck, but it does have a slight coating to keep it feeling too much like paper. So far, I like it. I love the size! We will see how it holds up. I’m going to be reading with this deck for the next couple of weeks to see how it works for me!
