Thanks, Mascha. Seeing all these decks compared makes me wonder, what was happening in the 19th and 20th Century to Marseilles? So much about decks from the 17th and 18th centuries but I haven't seen so much of the bridge to more contemporary versions of Marseilles. Are there a few later versions you like?

I have read somewhere that the Conver was put together from various decks. That's why it has so many different initials on the cards. So the conver was most likely assembled from various Tarot wood blocks.

Beautiful!…I just started dipping my toes into the world of TdM, and what’s such an added extra dose of fun is laying them out/looking them up and spotting the unique (and even at times subtle) differences between each deck.
