In 2022 weather forecasting or radar technology on commercial airplane is divination because the pilot and copilot needs to see what is ahead to avoid bad weather condition. We are using technology to see the future of weather. So, what, is divination in 2022 and what does the bible consider divination in 4000 BCE?

@@TheTarotProfessor Here's a video by practising Jews who have studied Tarot. In Short, modern cards are derived from an older deck in France which has a lot of Judaism symbolism. It's an eye opener into tarot. Because Tarot is from Kabbalah but most mystics do not study Torah, Tanakh, Talmud, Midrash or Zohar. You would have been burned,drowned or something else that horrid. I believe free will. I have friends from all walks of life. I’m not fit to pass judgement on anyone. Neither are these people. I’m so happy I have an eternal Soul which never dies. Our vessel we live is to me a temporary home. Yet our souls are eternal. To me that’s so awesome.❤️

@@EyeofRa41081 if you think God disapproves of me you should read the Bible again or ask for holy spirit.. we are in no way to read someone's FUTURE because who are we? We are created with are not powerful enough otherwise we wouldn't need cards and ' angels' (fallen angels) to tell us what is going to happen would we? It doesn't make any sense at all.. the Mosaic Law (Lev. 19:31, Lev. 20:6, Lev. 20:27, and Deut. 18:9-14) the practice of consulting with the dead and the mediums themselves are described as abominations, spiritual prostitutes, and defiled/unclean. Among the Prophets, Isaiah has some discussion about how the use of mediums brings about destruction to those who seek guidance from the dead (Isaiah 8:16-22, Isaiah 19:1-4). There are no positive references in the Law and the Prophets in regard to mediums.

Oml it's so hard to find a video like this! I don't think I'm fortune telling either, bc nothing in the future is like set and stone, so I read is just a possibility, and confirmation of intuition. I agree they think if we read cards we do not love our God Divine Energy. I due. I’ve did so much research and was raised in a very Strict Christian Family. Yet I began seeking . The powers that be has left out over 777 books of the Bible. I know my Bible. I know and believe God. Their is evil S well as good. The best lie ever told was Satan doesn’t exist. Yet there has been Evil since the beginning of time. So to me it’s no different than A car,Electricity, or a gun. None of these things kill people. It all depends on how it’s used. So many fail to realize that evil people are so vain and think we are stupid. I’ve said it once and I will say it again. Their under estimating us and their little signs and symbols. Will be their downfall. The only reason it’s got so hidden was because we didn’t used to have internet or a cell phone that can take real time videos. Post them in a matter of a few minutes. This video really eased my mind! I previously was scared of tarot because I came from a Christian upbringing and saw people like Doreen Virtue condemning and denouncing it as "evil". Now I know it's just a tool for love, light, healing and intuition. I just did a reading with my dad (who is psychic but is scared of his own abilities/ gifts but also thought it was contacting evil spirits) and he feels much better about tarot knowing it's just me connecting to my intuition. @@mcsilva8223 It's very clear you are living in fear and those who live in fear attract more fear. You comment on videos like this to instill it on other people because you yourself are in fear. You think you are doing the Lord's work but you're actually not. God is love, right? And if people use tarot to help people in a way that connects them to that love, what is there to fear? it's all in what you believe. Your belief activates what shows up in your life and what you interpret is true. Now that I don't believe in the Bible in a literal sense because I see that all religions essentially teach the same thing (God is alignment, unconditional love), I don't let others who attracted fear into their tarot experience deter me. Those with "demonic" experiences attracted that because they somewhere somehow believed in that and it was reflected in their reality. If all tarot was demonic, then every single person who did it would have negative experiences.

@@mcsilva8223 There are plenty of people who are born with natural gifts like clairvoyance and if you believe in the bible (in a literal sense) then why did God give them those gifts? To help others, to serve. There are Christian tarot readers out there believe it or not. It's not about the tool, it's how you use it. It's intention. You clearly believe in the Bible and the bible says it's all about your intention and coming from the heart. So essentially it's only evil unless that is your intention or belief. And if that's the case, why would you label it that? It doesn't feel good to do so.

This is why I hate labels. I am intuitive and an empath, but that doesn't make me better than anyone else. My gifts are just more in tune because I used my free will choice to be open to it. I use my gifts to help others, because the real gift is when you are able to help others do what you've been able to do. And with tarot, I do know the meanings, but I definitely read them more intuitively...and I channel. But the reason I use the cards is simply because I connect with the imagery amd Im a visual person. I like the way the messages unfold when I have the cards. I guess its personal preference. Because I channel all the time without them lol

So silly, “you can’t read for yourself.“ That is exactly how you learn and practice 😂 I’ve always been fascinated by them since I was a kid, my uncle even had a hand drawn set he made and ever since seeing those I’ve wanted to make my own (it is a huge project to undertake though so it hasn’t come to fruition yet! 😅) I have always been a bit sensitive, I’ve had dreams that come true and I’ve been able to energy work since childhood even before I really knew what it actually was that I was doing, but now I love drawing for friends and family. I still don’t know all the meanings and I have to look them up in most cases but I do have the intuition to pull the right cards bc they always tell me it’s wild the things I read back to them even when we haven’t caught up on all the goings on! It’s a joy and a pleasure 😊

As a Christian I’ve always had mixed feelings about tarot cards. I know the Bible says not to practice divination but I think there’s a lot of grey areas in that statement.

I agree about the grey area for Christians, Daniel. If we define divination as fortune-telling, predicting the future, or trying to play god and assume all tarot readers are doing that, I can see how a Christian might say tarot is not in line with their religion. And that's okay! (Of course, this isn't necessarily a problem for people who aren't Christian, and that needs to be understood too.) But I wish more Christians were open-minded enough to realize that that's not how a lot of modern tarot readers (like myself) use tarot. We don't fortune-tell or try to predict the future. Plus, we mostly read for ourselves as a tool for self-discovery, self-reflection, and accessing our own intuition. I think if more Christians understood this, they'd realize that tarot and Christianity aren't always incompatible and that they've been operating under a false and fearful Hollywood stereotype that isn't always accurate. Of course, some tarot readers are fortune-tellers, and I think it's important to note that I'm not denouncing that here. I'm just saying there's more to tarot than fearful and judgmental Christians would like to believe, and I appreciate that you are open-minded enough to admit that there is grey area. That's refreshing! At the end of the day, each of us decides for ourselves if any practice (tarot or otherwise) is in line with our personal beliefs and we can make that call for ourselves, knowing we all have different beliefs and values and will decide differently.

I have always heard that they invite bad spirits, BUT I’ve been able to sense energy ( good and bad)from a young age so I disagree w the fact that it invites negative energy. Lots of those who are intuitive and psychic DO read tarot, as a tool to confirm their intuition and simply because it is enjoyable. Please educate yourself on Intuitive Mediums and psychics, before you assume we don’t need tarot, tarot is just a another wonderful tool in our toolbox.

I downloaded a tarot card app on my phone and within months my house was hopping with ugly threatening psychic energy, things moving on their own in front of my face. So glad you made this video! I just came from a video where a guy who was an ex-satanist said when he read tarot, demons would tell him things about the people he was reading for. Face-palm. Also, the whole "you have to be gifted your first deck." The tarot is made up of human archetypes... thus, if you incarnate into this reality you are born with those archetypes within yourself and that gives us all license to use it.

For my first tarot deck I was gifted for my birthday by my friend who isn’t a tarot reader. Even then I would’ve gotten the deck for myself if I had the money at the time and it connected with me very well. To be gifted something like tarot or a pendent is very nice but we can be drawn to a lot of things from our own intuition and energy. Also tarot won’t invite spirits but it will attract when doing any sort of magic or occult activity you become a beacon but it’s not always evil or bad of course.

Welcome, Keira! I don't think it matters where you get your deck. I've seen them at book stores, on Amazon, even at Urban Outfitters! If you are feeling weird about it, you could try cleansing your deck's energy to feel like you're starting with clear, positive vibes. It's not necessary, but might resonate! Tarot cards don’t allow negative energy in unless the person using them has negativity in there subconscious Also Christians say every negative experience they have is a demon, they have a nightmare they say it’s a demon, they have sleep paralysis they say it’s a demon when 99% of the time it’s not and plus I’m a occultist and demons won’t attack you unless you give them a reason too.

Hi! I have a deck of Rider-Waite tarot cards. I have them because I really like the art of the cards. I do not use the cards because, come on, they are cards and don’t tell you anything. I don’t believe in divination, psychic readings, or horoscopes, it’s all nonsense. Moreover, as a Catholic, engaging in divination is a BIG no-no and believing that these mere cards have power to foresee future events or opportunities is certainly idolatry. Heck, it’s not like the cards are some ancient tool devised by wizards or witches, they began as just another style of playing cards in the 1400s and only became “associated” with the occult in the late 1700s. Big deal. The cards aren’t intrinsically evil, but people can certainly use them in a way that is problematic. However, I do find the Rider-Waite illustrated cards lovely to look at only in an aesthetic sense. So, I say enjoy the beauty of your cards, play card games with them all you want, but don’t expect the cards to have some mystical ability to tell your future or offer sacred knowledge or guidance. You’ll be better flipping a coin for heads or tails, or playing one potato, two potato!

All 78 cards are connected with each other. The Death card represents a transformation and a new beginning. The cards are just paper with pictures on them there is no scientific evidence that spirits are connected with the decks. What I do when I get a new deck I ask it what type of deck it is and whatever card pops out is the energy of that deck.

If tarot reader knows to read tarot then cards are medium and tarot reading is based on past and current energy of the questioner or client. Tarot can heal and change your life as it guides on your path. Same card or different it doesn't matter. Matter is if youf tarot reader can tell what you didn't tell them even. We can make the solution and guidance when we combine the birth chart astrology with Tarot reading. Each Tarot card represents it's own connection with each zodiac signs, house, planets and their combination. How both are different from each other. Tarot is for guidance, consultation, healing and connecting yourself to higher realms

I just bought my own deck so I could read my own tarot 😂 only thing is, can tarot give me “bad news”? All the cards seem to be good outcomes so I’m wondering what if I have a question can it tell me something that’s not so good? I’d hate to feel like it tells me what I want to hear all the time.

What a great question! When we read tarot for ourselves, we always run the risk of finding the message our ego wants to hear rather than the real message being presented. To combat this, I made sure to study the traditional meanings of the cards and learn the symbolism. Those meanings, combined with my intuition, usually keep me honest so that I'm not just "making it up" as I go. Hope that helps! Thanks for watching.

So if you are reading this and you have been told a future prediction that worries you I would suggest to you that we always have the power to change our future. Be very clear you know what you are asking for. I think peaking around the corner is fine but personally if I had someone read my Tarot I would say, “No long term future predictions please.” Steps you could take to limit the chance of a bad reading Say a prayer before you read or are read for and ask that all that comes from this reading will be for your greater good. Picture it going well. If you get a bad feeling that you shouldn’t go ahead with a reading then don’t do it. You need to trust your instinct. Try to get a recommendation from someone who has already seen that person. Then ask how did they present information and was there anything that worried the person about the reading. Be careful what you ask for. Are you ready for all the possible answers to that question? What will you do with the answer? I love the Tarot and have been studying and using it for more than twenty years and most Tarot readers will have only your best interest at heart and will hopefully weave a wonderful picture that is empowering. Tarot readings can be really useful to help us see our lives more clearly and personally and I think it is really exciting. Good luck!!

@@masterofnone1481 tarot cards hold spiritual dangers. they are a form occult divination that seek to tamper with the spiritual dimension (which is not something to joke with). people will do a really good job at convincing you that tarot cards are a “harmless” act, but it’s not. it’s a way for satan to make us believe that we don’t need God and we should rely on worldly mediums can see and touch for ourselves. God is the only one who can reveal the truth we seek, not some fortune telling facade. invest your time and spirit into the one who holds your future. just trying to look out for y’all❤️ (plus they’re ugly looking anyway lol)

I so feel your pain on this! Unfortunately, if someone is that entrenched in fear-based false beliefs, there's little you can say to change their mind. I always first ask people like that, "Are you actually curious to learn something new about tarot, or are you just trying to make a point based on your beliefs?" They usually aren't asking to learn so I don't waste my energy. If they are genuinely asking, I tell them that tarot is more a psychological, self-reflective tool. I'm not channeling spirits or trying to predict the future. I use tarot to explore my own thoughts and emotions, understand myself, and live more intuitively and authentically. That has nothing to do with Jesus or Satan.
