The Jessa Crispin deck, what are the 18 extra cards? Is there an extra suit, extra majors, or does it not follow a traditional pattern?

I'm glad you asked, I meant to mention that but I totally forgot! This deck is a riff on an older tarot-related system called Minchiate. Four of the extra cards represent the four elements, and the other twelve represent the zodiac signs. I think I said 96 in the video but there's actually 94 cards in the deck!

Hi, I found your YT via your podcast and I just wanted to say I love your content. I get so much help and inspiration from your Tarot teachings. I was disappointed to learn you had discontinued the podcast, but I can understand that it just wasn't resonating with you. Just because you're really good at something doesn't necessarily mean it needs to be your thing--or your thing right now! I think the quality of the podcast (content, sound quality, the sound of your voice, interviews, etc.) was top notch.

Thanks for the updates! I LOVE the Spolia Tarot. It feels really deep and “otherworldly” to me, in that very “classic-but-modern”/“let’s-just-call-it-timeless” way that you described. :) I am so thrilled for you that your worlds collided with the creation of those Jenny Lewis cards! Hello, I'm a huge Jenny Lewis fan but I know only a little about Tarot. I have desperately been trying to identify the reference for Dogwood and Wasted Youth. Do you know what they are? Thank you so very much if you can enlighten me. Glad this made you so happy :-)

Wasted Youth looks inspired by the Ace of Cups and Ace of Pentacles. Dogwood is unique in that it has the general tarot aesthetic but isn't referencing a specific card as far as I can tell.

Yeah, as I was filming I knew it wasn't the best format! There's links in the descriptions to take a closer look at everything I mentioned and I'll try to do a better format in future vids!
