The first time I read with this deck I was blown away. The images just pulled me right in and directed me to what I needed to see. I looked at this deck for a long time before I purchased it. I just wasn't sure whether or not it would be a good fit for me. It turned out that my fears were unfounded.
This is an oversized deck measuring 3 1/2" X 5". This makes it a bit difficult to shuffle. The cardstock is thick and slick.
The deck comes as a kit with a small guidebook. There are no pictures in it and it doesn't come with traditional meanings. Rather, you get a poetic verse and keywords. I'm still not sure how I feel about that. At this point it really hasn't been an issue for me because the cards speak so clearly.
The suit names have been changed as well. For swords you have dreamers, for wands you have warriors, for cups you have dancers and for pentacles you have makers. The minor arcana also come with a word prompt on the bottom of the card. This is something that I don't like very much. For me it tends to arrest any further thought into the card.
The artist is Emily Carding and it is published by Schiffer.
