Hi Marine. Thanks for sharing your intentions and curiosity about decks you want to work with or are unsure about. I wonder if the Erenberg (I don't have it btw but love the idea of using it as a clarifier) could be used with something deep and mysterious like the Mary El and then the Erenberg would be like diving in, taking a talisman - a snippet of a bigger picture that you view as if super-close, and bringing it out to carry with you in the coming days ... 🤔 Would be curious to hear how you end up working with it 🙋🏻‍♀😘

I started learning lenormand last year, and runes, but I didn't put too much effort into it, so I'm basically still a beginner and guidebook dependent 😂 this year I intend to fix that... and the lilac lenormand has gone up on my list! I love the storybook aesthetic of the carnival at the end of the world, but I don't think it's for me, I do appreciate it though. The journey looks beautiful too, I'm still trying to decide if I need it... I love the idea of the Eremberg, and the art style, but again, not for me (that feet card... ewwwwww 🤢🤣) and recently I found out that Todd Alcott, the creator of the Pulp tarot, is making a sci-fi one! I'm gonna get that one for the retro sci-fi vibes! ✨️💖 hugs from my cold little corner! (I'm loving the cold though, I'm all about the cozy, hot chocolate and cat cuddles)

Exile tarot!! My favorite, I got the mini version without checking the dimensions, the cards are maybe half a finger's size, made for pixies hahah, but I still love it! I found it to be very useful for any creative endeavor, it really speaks that language the best imo. And your idea of giving each card a couple sentence long stories sound so much fun, I need to do that as well! + I say this solely based on aesthetics but maybe Erenberg tarot would go well with the Aquarian tarot?

For added fun add the erenberg the curious travels and the secrets of the mystic grove. The erenberg also pairs well for me with the modern nirwana and animal kin oracles. Have fun!

Nemeth Tarot is still my study deck carried over from last year. I have edged my deck in blue and I am translating the legends for each card into English and writing my own guidebook. The new decks I want to get to know better are the ones I got for Christmas.

25:40 I need to bond with this deck more too! I really want to put it side by side with the Monsoon and see what comes of that. I like the way you added in new decks that you feel like you want out get in deep with. I always pull older decks forward when I make lists like this but I rarely remember to add new decks. I guess I just figure I still have time but then they get forgotten sometimes so I think you’ve inspired me to look back at my own list and add in a few new decks! Thanks! ☺️

Lenormand resources KZbin: Kelly from Truth and Story has really good info. She also have excellent course offered through her website too. Definitely recommend her course but she has shorter version of it from maybe 9-10 years ago here on YT. Tarot Tribe Beyond Worlds so much good info. Lisa Loves Lenormand has a few too. And of course Lisa Papez. Books: the one by Caitlin Matthews and the one by Rana George are the big ones and both good.

I have read amazing books,.. from back to front, “the Complete Lenormand Oracle Handbook” by Caitlin Mathews. The Lenormand bible. And also “The Essential Lenormand” by Rana George. But what really made it all click and come together for me, was when I happened upon the “Lenormand Reader” on KZbin. Watching her do readings on KZbin was for me an “haha” moment. Now Lenormand and Lenormand type decks are all I read. One of my favorite Lenormand decks is “the Mondnacht Lenormand”, on Etsy, out of Germany. With the expansion, a 70 card Lenormand. I absolutely love this deck. One of my favorites❤️ I also very much love, the “Tea Leaf Fortune Telling Cards” by Rae Hepburn. A mass market deck. A huge monster deck of 180 round cards. . Like you, I like many cards. And many symbols to work with. ❤️

Happy Ghosts Lenormand is the cutest 👻 it also helps to do Lenormand with a buddy. The phlebotomist at work and I each pull 3 cards every day and we share our interpretations. We use the Medieval Lenormand, it’s really fun! ❤

Marine, try the Erenberg with the Curious Travels CT tarot. I just had the 2 pentacles in the erenberg which shows eyes looking up at pentacles balancing on the nose and the 4 swords in the CT where the figure is transfixing her eyes at the sword above her. The erenberg has put the magnifying glass onto the figures focus on that sword on the CT. You can't make this up. They are incredible together. The Erenberg grounds the detail for the Curious travels which is the enigmatic deck. Also try the 4C in the erenberg ( hand offering a cup with crossed arms prominent) and the KS in the CT with the sword right in front of his face which is all fuzzy = the king is blocking emotional energy ( with his sword) to get to him and has no facial expression, ie is emotionally void and depressed (detail of the 4c in the ereneberg).

I don't have the curious travels tarot (yet haha) but I do have the animal kin oracle you mentioned in your other comment & indeed they are super fun together I tried them & really enjoying that pairing so thank you so much for mentioning it 💖
