Ohhh i am so so sorry as I tought that I had already replied you….. actually you can make it vegetarian by just omitting the yolk ! But add a bit of extra ghee like half spoon as the replace the missing liquid from the yolk. That shoud work … sorry again as I thought I had replied you.

Yes you may omit it but there will be different in taste. You see, the milk function is to kerp the tart moist rather than to make it sweet … yes sweetness will be there due to the sugar content…. Just try without milk and tell me how it taste 😊

Lihat video makmur saya. Resepi ni tak cukup minyak sapi untuk makmur. Makmur mesti sekurang kurangnya separuh dari minyak ialah minyak sapi.

You are welcome 🙏 In my humble opinion, it is a bit risky to use lard as a replacement as I never come across that alternative suggestion before. Lard could give a strong ‘lardy’ after effect and also lard is mainly for cooking instead of baking ... I normally suggest people to substitute with same amount of butter. I hope this helps :)

Yes with top bottom element and without fan. I found that with fan, my cookies and cakes are dry eventhough people said it distribute heat evenly. So no fan for me :)

In bakery, corn flour is used to makes biscuits more crispy! Same method is used to make chocolate chip cookies texture, which is by adding corn flour. Therefore, replace some of all purpose flour with corn flour and see if you like it 😊

Ok replace 50 g meaning corn flour becomes 70 and minus wheat flour by 50 g. Try that !

Now, you have to roll the dough flat and mapped your mould onto it. So the weight of the dough is no longer important. The filling size is just nice enough for you to place it on top. So you must go by how big or small the filling you like it to be on top 😃

I bought it from my local baker’s store but you can also get it online. Look in the video the looks of the cutter and you nay order online if you can’t get it in your local baker’s store.
